Editor Crash/Freeze

Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but everytime i try to create/open a map, the editor just freezes up and eventually crashes.
Heres what basically happens:
I open my map, everything seems to load fine, minimap is visible. However the main screen is still black! I can click on anything, it just stops responding, and then crashes.
Same thing when trying to create all new maps.
I've tried reinstalling the beta, i still get the same mess up. Im thinking it mightve been due to patch 15, since i was able to use the editor this very morning, patched, and then bam no more.

I run Windows 7 86 bit, ive been able to use the editor up until this point.

Works fine for me (I use the enGB client, WinXP). If you havent already:
1)Close all other applications and run the editor again.
2)Also go to File->Preferences->Video and use low settings, see if that works up.

Report your findings to Blizzard.

I found out how to fix the crash ( at least for me ):
I deleted the MyDocuments//Starcraft II Beta//EditorVariables.txt.
After comparing values with the working auto generated file and some testing I could narrow it down to the line "forceStoryMode=1". Deleting it will fix the editor.

you dont have to go as far as deleting that line, just change the 1 to a 0
