Can't open my custom game to the public?

So for some reason when I'm hosting my map on SC2 the option to open the map to the public so I can get a public test going is faded out no matter what I do =/

Has anyone else had this issue?

Check to make sure that you published your map as Public, not private.

There's a little thing called Game Variants under one of the menus in the GE. Add a variant and mess with the settings and you should be able to.

Eh been messing with that but it won't seem to work.

In-game it has a mouse over tooltip for the "Open to Public" button that looks like this.



Now looking on the right the game is not set to custom and I had no observers set at all, so I have no clue why it's doing this.

Click on the Melee and Free For All tabs and change them to the game types you specified in the Map Variants. If that does not work, try recreating the variant.

In Game Variants, under Game Type set both Category and Mode to other, then enter in a name for each.

So I checked out the Marine Arena map that someone had published to see how they had things setup to try and figure out if I was doing something wrong (The teams in the map are also 2v2v2v2 like my zone control map)

I was able to finally fix one issue I was having in which the in game lobby wouldn't show teams of 2, but I still cannot get the map to have the ability to go Public with the exact same settings as the Marine Arena map (I tested in game and that map was able to go Public)

PS: I'm pretty much at a loss at this point.

UPDATE

OK! So it seems if you lock your map you can't open it to the public when hosting it! (Good job blizz -_-) I unlocked the map then published it again and it suddenly would let me open it to the public in the in game lobby, so I guess they wanted to make it so the only way to keep your maps from getting ripped off was to make it so only your friends could play it with you!
