Shoot Spell

Good day

On my map I need a spell of just like a pistol shot
(about the same as in the map "Toy sound"

I've already considered one unit
make it small, and her ability "to give fire brand" to the works but not because I do not know how the unit will move forward.

Got it pretty bad description

i think what hes asking for is a followup system. Like he uses thunder clap and an arrow shoots out from where he is standing to like 800 ahead of him
 
Okay use a skill like shockwave or whatever, replace all the graphics and edit the stats, then make "Casting time" like 1 second or something, and toggle the thing that allows it to be interruptible, then make a trigger that says:

"Event - Unit starts casting an abilitiy"
"Condition - ability being cast is equal to (Gunshot/shockwave)"
"Action - Create special effect on point of unit using model (Thunderclap)"
"Action - wait 1 second"
"Action - Destroy (Last created special effect)"

This should make the unit have to channel for one second, with it beginning with thunderclap, then the bullet shoots out after that.
 
...using a wait trigger then a Destroy last created special effect? That couldn't be more buggy even if it tried.


Just base the ability on something like Thunderclap or Channel with "Instant (No Target)" and then run the triggers of a projectile system (there are loads on this website).
The only thing you'd need to edit is the target point of those projectile systems. Just change the target to "Position of (Triggering Unit) offset by 100.00 towards (Facing angle of (Triggering Unit))" instead of "Target point of ability being cast".

Therefore, no target is needed, and it shoots straight forward.
