what do you mean by "in all map"?
do you mean whether there is one certain item anywhere on the map or a specific item carried by (a unit/one hero) on the whole map?

either what was said by adiktuz, or when entering the region, you must check EVERY item on the map and EVERY item carried by EVERY unit in EVERY slot, so that wuld be one very very huge loop
