Well, I am making a map based on Warhammer Fantasy. I have seen a few games like these, but I dont like them, solution?: Make my own map!
The map is similar to DAoW (Dark Ages of Warcraft) and Azeroth Wars(Thanks for the inspiration guys
). I am trying to make all the units the same as the ones in the table top game, as in, I am implimenting the game into War3. I have been...procrastinating on Hive for about a month now getting the first team done (about 90% atm, second team...about 60%) As well as borrowing

all these cool looking models.
But I have come accross a few problems. And anyone who thinks this map is a cool idea just post if you would like to help

And now for the crunch, the map mathematically calculates armor saves, toughness, wounds, etc.
Here is how (If you dont care, skip to the next part)
1 leadership = 50 mana & 0.5 mana/sec (This is now morale)
1 Strength = 2 Damage
1 Ballistic Skill = 100 projectile speed
Range in War3 = (Range in inches/4) * 100
Move in War3 = Move in inches (not march) * 10 [Note: I am thinking on making marching / march blocking in the future]
Gold cost in War3 = Point cost. [Note: Special = 1.5*point cost, Rare + Charcters = 2*point cost]
Hitpoints = (2 * Toughness) * Wounds
1 Weapon Skill = [4 * Weapon Skill +1] %age to dodge an attack.
Initiative is worked out differently...
1I = 0.73 swing animation
2I = 0.66
3I = 0.59
4I = 0.52 etc... (Goes down by 7 each time)
Attacks per 5/seconds in War3 = Number of attacks per turn.
Armor Saves = Damage reduction [minimum dmg = 1]
6+ = 1dmg reduction
5+ = 2dmg reduction etc... [down to 1+ as 6 dmg reduction[
Spell Cooldowns = Spell Power * 6.125 [Otherwise spells just suck]
Special Abilities [This list will be added to as I make them for the teams associated]
Stubborn = +100% morale regeneration
Cold Blooded = + 50% morale regeneration
Hatred = 50% extra damage against the hated units.
Skirmishers = 16.66% ranged damage reduction.
Large Targets = 16.66% ranged damage aplification.
Multiple shots = extra attacks but -1 Ballistic Skill
Move and shoot = +1 Ballistic Skill
Fear = Still in BETA (Very hard to mathematically forumlate this [*Whips math slaves*]) So here it is.
Terror = Double strength fear.
Now for the fluff!
