I guess he means to not have to watch things he knows works. Right?

Thats why I make them in different scenes like, scene 1 and scene 2. That way I can turn off the scene I know work when I test them later.
 
Mechmap is right. The best way to do it is to create multiple triggers, one after every scene, or every say 2-3 minutes(depending on how your total cinematic lasts). Then just simply change the action in your first trigger to run the appropriate scene trigger, or do any other event you like to use.
