i need a item/trigger that will give +500 dmg for each item your hero has, i hope someone can help me with this.

You can only add an ability once.
You could also use tomes of +damage if your hero / unit can use items.

the thing i need is:
you have 4 items and then you hero picks up a new item, the new item has a ability/trigger that gives you + 500dmg for each item you have.
This may be the thing Rui is talking about.

-Edit- Nevermind, I'll get you a better tut, Hold on...
-First step, Go into ability editor, copy Item Damage Bonus, under Data - Attack Bonus change it to however much attack damage you want.
-Events-
A Unit aquires item
-Conditions-
((Triggering unit) Has item of type (Item name here)) equal to true
-Actions-
Unit - Add (Whatever you named Item Damage Bonus) to (Triggering Unit)
Its not much but hope it helped,

Make a damage + ability with 6 levels.
Each level is 500 damage more than the last.
Simply every time an item is dropped or gained you count the number of items the hero has and set the ability level to that.
