Item Attachment & changing missile arts when acquiring items

Hi guys!

How can i add a nice fire ball attachment to jaina's staff ?
I tried with an item +8 damage bonus and i set attachment point to weapon, right , and i added the fire ball modell to Art - Caster.
What i did wrong ?

just set attachment point to "weapon", delete the "right" string

Another problem: How can i do that, when a hero picks up the item, the heroes attack missile will change to a different form, and when he drops the item, it changes back.
You know, like a staff of lightning.. when he picks up hes attack is change to lightning from fire ball etc..

Use the blood mages sphere ability.
Set missile art to *your model idea* and Target/Caster effect to *model*.
Add the custom sphere to the item and change number of attachments to 1 and add the weapon attachment.

you can use orb abilities: item attack fire bonus, item attack corruption bonus, item attack lightning bonus, orb of slow, item attack poison bonus, etc..
