i cant just do the lightning effects it doesent look good.

If I am right you want to paint muscles ? Try to shade simple ball first . Just take few colours and practice it is not so hard . Then take one of the Blizzard textures with the muscles and try to make same Same goes for everyhing . How to make metal ? Take a look at WC metal texture . It is just a color with very strong highlights thats all
