[Elfsilver Lord]

I was playing around Photoshop today, and I decided to make several "Orbs of Skating". Here they are.

And theres more to come.

For all you nerds out there they are (in order) Element, Him/Margera, Volcom, DC, Etnies, Kr3w, Thunder, and Spitfire.

They are too dark and dont have the shading of a sphere.

Way too dark on most of them, you can hardly see the emblem. Although the effects are nice, the shadows are way overdone.

@ Kimberly, the sphere was shaded, not as heavy as the emblem though.

@donut3.5, its not supposed to be you can see the whole emblem, its like a dark thing rising out of hte shadows. Volcom is hard to read because I tried to use a different layer style, but it didnt work out.

The shadows are quite unrealistic, whether or not some looming figure is shadowing it. Aside from that they could use some colour and, of course, stronger highlights.

... It wasnt supposed to be realistic, it was supposed to be a practice.

Next time you practice then you should references. Sphere are not 2d, they are a 3d form.
