Yeah, I dislike the forrest fire. Fires dont normaly start midway in a tree =\. Some of the other ones are good. I think the fourth one is the best.

i bought this game when i was 12 or somethin... so ive been terraining for a little more than 4 years.

i have always wanted a job at Blizzard as a terrain manager ( w/e)
but im not sure if thats gonna happen.
i wonder what they get payed. . .

EDIT : Revan pointed out, that i have had the GAMe for 4 years... and i started pure terraining in like august.

you should try making a ruins city. i think ruined cities are quite hard to portray properly (imo)

problem with ruined cities is that there arn't alot of building in the "ruined form" that atually look nice.

i guess if i changed the color of the ruined houses so that they are greyer, and ...

well, we'll see

lolololololololololololol the 2nd space one is pretty funny. u can see the clouds, n the stars are on the bottom. lol, dont know if that was intentional or not

there was no up or down in that screenshot

it just so happened that there were no stars above those gas clouds.

a few things :

the space thing was just a random thing that came 2 my head.
it waz actually fun to pull off the camera work on that one.

my intention for the second space pic was to make the illusion that your going at light speed, like in the star wars movies xD

didn't work out as well as i thought, but who cares

did u know that the space idea was based on a map called " Star Wars Dogfight "

u can find it here on the hive.
The difference between the game ( which is fun as hell to play ) and this pic was that he used the different star models called "lumiere ", and do simulate stars better than what i did. But i didn't want to copy cat .

Hmm, It's pretty easy. My friend(kinda) Used to work with Blizzard. He said It was kind of like the army (?! I bet he was a junkie!) And that you had to work your way up in your game/admin. Department. I don't really know how But my guess is :

You start out as a (insert peon here) and end as (insert Hero here)

I like the last picture, the one with the city on the... clouds? I can't tell what they are. You should make the bridge a bit more obvious, looks like random scrap.

Its not really a terrain, more of a ... pIcture >.<

lol, to answer ur question,in the Floating City they arn't clouds, there floating rocks ( i guess they could work as clouds ) and thats not a bridge, its supposed to be a part of a city thats up there. Maybe i should have changed that camera angle. . .

by the way, im not sure how to do that

To add a link to "text"... just select the text you want to be the link. Press the "Inset Link" button. Type in the link, Presto! All done.

Edit: I like the faces, but the volcanoes should be smaller, so you can see their unholy-emptyiness. Be a smaller hat

an update :
ive been workin on those ruins ghost . Still hard 2 do. . .

ive also been workin on this Helms Deep Aos Project.
So far it looks AWSOME. Ill put screenshots of it up later this week.

No, the main reasons are the colors, the angle, and the background.

You need to add background (Im refering to the hills) in most of your scenes, deadhunter.

And yes, it's your best terrain.
