hey Sevenblood i was playing curse of the blood elves revamp and found a little mistake in chapter 8 where the steam geyser don't have any mana to heal my units making them useless
just new here at the site and I don't really know how to check for updates here, but I just wanted to know if you have an initial release date on the next alternate timeline and if this still going to work at wc3 classic?

If you are talking about the next Warcraft III Alternate Campaign, Spirituality's End, a beta version of it is already playable. As for when the next map will be released, I don't have a clear date. Warcraft III Alternate will always remain on patch 1.31.1, and can be played in later versions using my Campaign Splitter.
I just finished the chapter 9's first main quest of MalQuest, and after I finished watching the cutscene and this what always shows up and even restarted my pc and tried to retry the chapter this still what happen

The war was a dissaster for Perú, the chilean army crushed the peruvians and they took two importan departaments, Arica and Tarapacá, after the defeat the conflict was used as a propaganda for nationalism By Many presidents and politicians to get an scapegoat and redirect the anger and fear towards our neighbour country By constantly remind of the past war, and that conflict became part of our pop culture and "identity" ugh

So the fear of an invasion is pretty common here, even tough we both are totally different countries than the ones from that time, and we've been in peace (except for food and drinks, thats another embarrassing conflict that I dont wanna touch)
You said in game that there will be more options by the fountain, you mean 3 options good, bad and gray when you drink just a little alongside your army and get some magic power to your night elfs and you becoming litle bit of hybrid hero with little magic and more nature?

but still, i wonder how i'd fare if these dudes are still active and making stuff to this day. i wish i discovered the site earlier to have been mentored by these people. i'm like baby steps right now in animation, can you believe it? LOL. 10+ years in moddeling and just now learning animation. i still remember getting pumped everytime Dionesiist uploads a texture, like every other week he's getting a DC skin lol. i'd try for hours on end to imitate a style close to his lmfao.

i wish more people would enter if ever there'll be a modeling contest again. just like the old times where 10+ people would enter lol.

I mean you say that but you were active when they were active. Not just active but very active; I haven't checked but just scrolling through your immense Resources page you gotta be up there as one of the most prolific modelers (doing full custom models/geomerges, not just a bunch of SFX or retextures).

I can understand, though, wanting to have been mentored more. But don't knock yourself for being a beginner at animation; literally look back at your first dozen models. We all start somewhere. Animation is a really different beast than 3D modeling, give yourself some time. Some people never pick it up & just stick with what they know.

I don't know if we'll get 10+, but I have reason to believe we'll see a few this time around... (If I can ever get off my duff)

Sadly, not at the moment, because of how compressed the original Druid Claw's icon is, maybe someday in the future I might do one set for it

Hi, I'm using this pack, all models are fine except ZandalarArchway_1 and 2, in editor and game it is just a green box. Do I something miss?
The Darkening of Tristram - Heroes/Classes is ready and complete! I just don't know if I implement this mechanic: abilities with 10 levels and Deckard Cain able to reset the skill points for the player to create a build it wants or I keep the 5 levels per ability, the player can learn them all but some of them will have the same requirements.

NEWS ON THE DARKENING OF TRISTRAM!!!

As you may know, I stopped the Project - The Darkening of Tristram once more! Yeah, I know, I sometimes gets tired of this map, even though it is the most ambicious project of WarCraft 3 I've ever had.

But today I managed to create a trigger that creates a full complement of a new mechanic I intend to make in the Map.

I don't know if I told you all that, but since the map is heavily inspired by Diablo II by Wok.Vingador, and Diablo I contains 4 areas that may be counted as Act, I've made only 4 items of each class (Sword, Mace, Axe, Bow, Staff, Helmet, Shield, Body Armor). We all know that Diablo contains a vast arsenal and armory of items, but implement all of those in WarCraft 3 would take too much time.

After creating Excel tables for Items and Heroes, I want to make The Darkening of Tristram a bit special - CONTINUES ON: The Darkening of Tristram - Heroes/Classes

I'm working on a project and I would like to hide the UI from the main menu and campaign screens so only the background animations stay, but unfortunately, I'm a newbie at modding, and don't know how to achieve this. This is what I'm looking for.

I've looked through Your tutorials and I see that Your knowledge is incredible.
And that is why I'm asking You: Is this possible to do? And if so, how can I hide the UI from the menus?

Hi.

I might be the wrong person when you want to mod the WebUI Menu from V1.32+. But here what I have to say to this subject:

The menu in V1.32+ is in javascript and html. Unlike the ingame/match UI which is in fdf. You can find this javascript file when you open the game using CascView. Inside Cascview while browsing the game data there is a Folder, webui. It contains stuff for the V1.32+ Menu webui\gluemanager.js is the mentioned javascript file, webui\index.html might also be a file to consider, The backgrounds are in webui\webms\.
One can then have a custom menu (webui\gluemanager.js) by a Local files .

Should also be the way w3champions does their custom menu.

Using the CascView and exporting the .webm content technically solved my issue. Now I have all the background animations!
Does this method also work with pre-reforged Warcraft III? If I would like to have those old background animations as well, is CascView the way to go?

Warcraft 3 uses casc for its game data since Version V1.30. Before that version the data was stored in mpqs they can be read by some other tool.

But only V1.32+ has this webm backgrounds. The old backgrounds are warcraft 3 models.

You should not open the game data by that tools and play warcraft/world editor at the same time.
