Which is a doodad. The only ways to stop animation of doodads I am aware of is pausing the game and fog of war fogstate (if "Arts - Animate under fog" in object editor is false). The only jass function for doodads is to have them play another animation. If you there pass "hide" as argument, the doodad is not rendered. So maybe you could hide the doodad and put a dummy unit in its stead or have this right from the beginning.
