Well heres what you could do.

Download the latest version of WoW model Viewer, then download Oinkerwinkle's Animation Transfer and you will need Warcraft III Model Editor, you will also need Mdlvis, which is atached to this post.

First of all use the WoW Model Viewer to create your character, and then export it as a Milkshape file (ms3d). Now you will have to open up the Warcraft III Model Editor, open up the model.mpq in your WoW folder and find the model for the race and gender your character is. Export it. Now open up mdlvis, and open up the m2 file, and export it as mdl. The programs in a different language but it isn't that hard to find out what does what. Open up Warcraft III Model Editor again and click on Import under file. You should be able to import the ms3d file you exported from the Model Viewer. Now go to save as and save as mdl. Now open up the Animation Transfer program and simply trasnfer the animations from the animated model, to the model exported from the model viewer. Then just open it in the model editor again and convert it to mdx. Havn't tryed it, but it should work. Only problem might be that animations don't transfer propely.

i solved the mystery of there appearing no model :D it was too small for some reason exporting from WoW viewer causes the model to be small. I adjusted the scale in WEU to 99.00 and the dwarf model is "just" as tall as a troll beserker - unfortunatly it has no anims :( (i followed what Bob27 said but it hasnt worked for animations)
