The "Xnd Hero Siege" project
Welcome to the Xnd Hero Siege project's page. This is a project initialized in 2019 by Ricola3D, an addicted player of Sogat's X Hero Siege who was terribly desapointed by Sogat retirement and the fact that X Hero Siege had been not evolving for years. The project is based on the X Hero Siege 3.33 map, the latest stable version released by Sogat. I started it alone, but want it to be a collaborative projet : I am looking for contributors, so if you have ideas or development skills, feel free to join !

Concept
The spirit is to keep the essence of version 3.33, but fix the bugs, improve the balance and improve specific points. I also want to add some fun, but with always keeping the original spirit. A regular player of X Hero Siege 3.33 should be able to master this map quickly and without effort ! Therefore this is not a copy of Sogat's work. Aside annoying bugs fixed, there are major improvements, mainly to enhance the balance, teamplay or fun ! For v1.0, there are 2 new heroes, auras have more range and apply on wards, caster and summoners remain efficient in late game, etc...

Life Changing features

Gameplay

Beginning
One Player 1 (red) has chosen difficulty and pick mode, pick your hero(s) or use -random command. You can use the -repick command once if you are unsatisfied.

Defend the Castle
Creeps spawn from 8 lanes to attack the Castle. Choose a lane, go defend it with your hero(s). Killing creeps will give you gold and exp. Periodically ennemy waves appear at west, north, east then south of Castle. Defeat them with your teamates.

Special quests
The game includes 4 special quests, each one with a different reward. When you are ready, go in the circle and the bottom-right of Castle and pick the quest you wish:

1st special event
You get teleported in a tiny room with your allies. A dward boss, Muradin, is chassing you there. You cannot kill him, just survive 3min and you will win 50000 gold.

2nd special event
You get teleported in a tiny room without your allies. You have 3min to kill a maximum of ennemies to earn as much gold as possible !

1st survival
When you are done defending the Castle and stronger enough, you can kill the dark Necropolis. Then 2 new lanes open, and mega creeps will come once you enter within. Survive them.

Final wave
When you are done farming on the mega creeps, you can kill the ice thrones. A final wave will appear near the Castle, it is up to you to defend it.

1st boss
After surviving the final wave, you can go in the circles behing the remains of the ice thrones. This will teleport you to the first boss of this map: Magtheridon. Kill it 3 times to win. On dying, he will split into,many baby bosses.

Comparison to X Hero Siege 3.33 (by Sogat)
The following improvements have been made:

Major changes

  • New select modes: Dual Random & Dual Same.
  • New heroes: Runemaster, Stone Giant & Myrmidon.
  • Buy tomes: -bt command always enabled.
  • Buy levels: new -bl command.
  • Host: Can be transfered with -host <name/color/number> command. Automatically given to top score player on leave.
  • New items: 8 new items (3 merchants).
  • Super items: Can be bought for a high price.
  • Charged items: you can stack and split them.
  • Balance: All stats (allies & ennemies) balanced. Minions boosted in late game.
  • (All) hero image: boring spells removed (shakle, anti-magic field, ...). Clones stats do not take into account items & skills attribute bonus.
  • Dual heroes: Inventory are fully shared (even cooldowns). Events reset CDs of both heroes.
  • Cleave: Fixed, do not ignore armor anymore, and really do 100% damages (you will see the difference early game).
  • Buying level tomes: new command -bl.
  • Leavers: their hero is pickable again. Their gold is shared between remaining players.
  • Close way/open way works for ways 2 to 8, and iceway 2.
  • Shared control: allies hero portraits are visibles, switch is possible.
  • Bosses: spell immunity ability changed to resistant skin. Rear attacks do +20% damages, and 10% chances of rear strike with x3 damages. Flank attacks do +10% damages, and 5% chances of flank strike with x3 damages. Works with spells too.
  • Farm event: creeps take +500% damages from spells.
  • Attack types: all attack types do 100% damages to hero armor (piercing, siege, spell, magic).
  • Life steal abilities: work with any attack type (orb, ranged, ...).
  • Damage return abilities: now returns a fixed amount + a percentage of damages taken before armor reduction. Works vs melee & ranged attacks.
  • Summons: most summons gain a mini-cleave or mini-splash at level 3.
  • Shops: removed items start & replenish cooldowns. Castle now sells same items than Goblin Merchants. Merchants sell more items classed in 5 categories. Added possibility to convert goold into lumber and vice-versa. Potions of Greater Healing automatically used to save the hero while he's shopping.
  • Farm Event: spawn rate limited to 1 wave per second.
  • Survivals: bounty from ghouls, orc skeletons, death revenants & magnataurs is proportional to player count.
  • Rebuy: when your hero dies, you can rebuy at the cost of 5000 gold with -rebuy command.

Bug fixes
  • Dryad: multishot now works properly in late game.
  • Random: not available before settings selection anymore (caused bugs).
  • Leavers: check for stuck items or events.
  • Dual hero: no more exp lost by switching heroes. 2nd hero may be picked later.
  • Banehallow cinematic: no more 2nd hero misspositioning.
  • Blizzard bugs: workaround to fix orb of slow and similar abilities.
  • Earth/Fire/Storm Brewmaster: could not attack air units.
  • Banish: damages from fan or rockets and similar spells were nulified.
  • Some heroes missed the glow effect.
  • After special events, unselected heroes are not unpaused.
  • Boss are invulnerable before you fight them, to avoid glitches & cheats.
  • Tomes & other power-up items do not memory leak anymore.
  • Plasma rifle do AOE damage vs air units & buildings.
  • Dual hero switch & item cooldowns.
  • Fixed abilities that cannot target non-organic ennemies, air ennemies, non-organic allies, ward allies.
  • Game was stuck at captains stage when playing Easy mode in solo.
  • Using close way command to close the last opened way stuck the games.
  • Silent assassins, Lighhtning Attacks, Dragons Attacks could sometimes happen during cinematics (paused phases).
  • Some heroes had wrong start mana or mana regeneration.

Other changes
  • Kick command is now possible with name (case sensitive), color or player number.
  • Extrem ennemy heroes give a gold bounty equal to their stats.
  • Cooldowns: various cooldowns reduced.
  • Mirror images & Clones: get damage, defense and attack speed bonus. Get autocasts.
  • Minions can use the 2 teleport circles behind the ice pillars to reach the boss zone.
  • Muradin event: cannot place wards or phoenixes in water anymore.
  • Farm event: rock golems are not magic immune anymore.
  • Farm event: improved sheeps/corpses/tree spawn.
  • Cinematics: shortened final wave cinematic.
  • Boss phase: hero revive timer is reduced from 120s to 45s during this phase. Stats improved to compensate for armor damage reduction nerf.
  • Code reliability and performances improved.
  • Shops: Tome of Power max stop changed to 3. Amulet of the Wild cooldowns divided by 2.
  • Corpses: removed after 8s instead of 5 (for spells that need them).
  • Special events teleportation circle: your minions are teleported along.
  • Claws of Attack: damage bonus increased.
  • Added some text indications & mini-map pings for beginners.
  • Heroes: initial health points increased by 400 to compensate for armor damage reduction nerf.
  • Gold bounty from extrem heroes is now equal to the sum of their stats.
  • Dragons packs & assassins pack size capped to 20.
  • Damage return works vs ranged & spell attacks.
  • Waves 9 to 12 (after farm event): bounty x2.
  • All heroes stats have been uniformized (life, mana, defense, stats...).
  • Move speed bonuses stack.
  • In Extrem 4, added a reminder 30s before level 2 for "-extreme" command.
  • At the end of the following events units & items are cleaned: Ring of Superiority, Lightning Sword, Farm.
  • Necropolis, Spirit Towers, Ice Towers & Death Towers are invulnerable if way is closed, and destroyed at next stages.
  • Ice ways: right one does not open in single player mode.
  • Added a reminder message to open last unused ways before next stage.
  • Removed useless "-random <number>" command.
  • 4 Generals: reward increased to 300 000 gold + 300 lumber.
  • Added heroes name in pick area.
  • Ankh of reincarnation: delay reduced to 5s, and a armor/hp regen buff of 3s apply after ressurecting.

    • Aerial shackles (Bloodmage): 500 damage per second. CD reduced to 30s.
    • Anti-magic Shield (Archmage): replaced by Frigid Protection.

    • Attribute Bonus (Warden): +50 bonus per hero level.
    • Banish: is now a short duration spell (4s).
    • Blizzard (Archmage): boosted.
    • Bomb Trap (Shadow Hunter): damage doubled at level 4.
    • Breath of Fire: stats uniformized between Blood Mage, Pandaren & Fire.
    • Burning oil (Bloodmage): range/damage +25%.
    • Carrion Beetles (Cryptlord): attack speed increased.
    • Carrion Swarm (Dreadlord): damage boosted, cooldown reduced.
    • Chaos (Dreadlord): damage boosted, cooldown reduced.
    • Clone (Marine): can target wards and invulnerable. Come with you in farm event.
    • Cripple (Warlock): debuff boosted. Mana cost reduced to 100.
    • Critical Arrows (Dryad): replaced by Piercing Arrows.
    • Death Coil (Dreadlord): cooldown reduced from 20 to 15s (like Firebolt, Frostbolt,...).
    • Death Coil (Ghost): cooldown increased from 10 to 15s (like Firebolt, Frostbolt, ...). Now damages ennemies or heal allies (independant of if they're undead or not).
    • Debilitation aura (Archmage): effect changed, increases damage taken from all sources of a given %.
    • Esnare (Pandaren Brewmaster): added 300 damage per second.
    • Fan of Knives/Light/Rockets: damage, AOE and cooldown uniformized.
    • Feedback (Shadow Hunter): replaced by "Wards Mastery".

Version 1.43 (2023/09/11)
  • Major changes
    • Ank of Reincarnation: delay reduced from 15s to 5s. Added a short armor/hp regen buff after reincarnating.
    • Increased shops acquisition range from 450 to 800.
  • Bug fixes
    • Fixed desyncs because of a weird Blizzard bug with weapon upgrades.
    • Fixed 3 dummy unit leaks with Avalanche skill (May reduce desyncs).
    • Fixed a bug with -ow for the 2nd ice way when single player (the door remained closed).
    • Fixed a camera bug: after killing the 4 captains the camera didn't pan properly to the closing door.
    • Fixed a bug with pause/unpause all units resulting in remaining whirwlinds (blade master).
    • Fixed a bug where dummy casters with 0 sight radius could not find their target.
    • Fixed the glow effect of some heroes being too small since Reforged.

Increase the number of dragons before level 2 would be nice, even in ex4 they are insufficient specially for 8 players where basically all try leaving their positions and kill dragons.
Maybe the penalty could be if the host changes difficulties more than one to make it so the first batch of new heroes have double the stats of the new difficulty level. That would make a second ex100+ far more challenging.

In battle net, I usually play dual random heroes with at most 4 players usually 3 and desyncing is so random.
Maybe you could create an option for the host to ban some heroes at the beginning so that they won't turn up in random, and lets see if banning Mountain giant or other hero will fix it.
PS. What happened that Sogat version never desyncs.

I actually don't have the original code of X Hero Siege 1.33. I had to hack it (since Sogat cannot be contacted..). And after this hack phase, I modified tons of things ^^
Plus the desync issues are really hard to debug because they often are random, and not always reproductible in local network..

Hey Ricola, back again to make a few comments on the map. Just two small nitpicks.

1. Crypt Lord's Poison sting ability is too consistent, sometimes the damage does go off, sometimes it doesn't. The range of the ability also seems to be inconsistent as well, let's just say the damage output is barely noticeable compared to immolation. Suggest adding a visual effect like poison cloud as well as checking if the damage of the ability applies properly.

2. Some of the late swords in the game like the True Strike sword or the staff seem a little too overpriced compared to the iconic items like bracer of protection and the dagger of 1250 damage. I now they do provide powerful abilities but I don't think their value can compete with the iconic vanilla game items. It doesn't help either that the shaman claw item is pretty underpowered compared to the late game dagger.

Hi Ricola 3d Pandaren and Earth Brewmaster earthquake is completely useless against dragons, please make it so it can attack air, or change it. And Druid of the claw Owl scout must be one of the most pathetic 21 level ultimates available, it is worthless.
In extreme the swords become mostly worthless in late game, unless one could stack them like the potions 90 on one spot, that would be nice.
Myrmidon Realm of Souls is too imba, not so much its power but its AoE, its ridiculous.

btw, there is an annoying bug at ex100, don't know if less as well, where ennemy heroes at ex100 do not appears at all thereby making the game ridiculously sijmple, at ex80 hasn't happened to me. It happened in 1.24 as well as 1.25b.

- About Poison Sting: you are talking about the passive that adds poison damages to attacks right ? It is currently limited to organic ennemies, I could remove this limiter. Also it has no range, it is melee no ? About damage comparison to immolation, do you mean in early game or late game ? It is possible that spell boost doesn't boost poison sting in late game (I'll have to check if it bugs).
- About items: I failed, it should be +750 (for claws, enchanted blade & heavy basher), not 550. Do you think it is enough ? Do you have any other suggestion to balance them ?

- About Earthquake, you're right. I'll see if I can change it to something like rock fall (for a better visual), or at least make it hit air units too.
- About Owl Scout. It can cast nerfed versions of inner fire & blood lust, and autocast limitation to 1 spell suxx. 2 solutions: change its abilities (ex: Bloodlust +200%-40% & War drums aura) or replace the skill (ex: summon a bear that fights alongside with you instead). What do you prefer ?
- About Realm of souls: okay Il'l nerf it a little.
- About stacking items with +1250 damages I'm sceptic^^
- About the heroes bug in ex100: is it systematic ? Or does it happen only sometimes ?

never happens in ex75 or ex80 but in ex100 in 1.24 or 1.25 always results in ex100 far easier than ex80 at level 2 which is absurd. It used to happen in older versions until it stopped, I don't remember which versions though.

I think the rings and other heroes auras already cover that, better change ulti like the beastmaster wolf, which would be fitting since is a druid of the claw to change it to a giant bear or maybe a powerful bear with magic immunity so it doesn't get dispelled by captain

You are right, I now remember that you have put on sale the 10000 dmg sword that should be enough. It would be nice if you increased the number of dragons that come before level 2 so in a team of 8 everybody can get enough gold for bracers.


the desyncing bug is terrible, one I was trying to play with formidable10 but it kept desyncing, This is this map major issue.

Yes in terms of Poison Sting I am referring to the passive. If you could remove the limiter that would be great. A slightly larger range would be nice, make it more useful especially in the late game maybe 100-200. I am not so picky about the spell damage boost, I just would want the ability to go off so he has decent aoe. Don't get me wrong his ultimate is a great wave clear but it has a really long cooldown. Maybe if you made the locust swarm ability a weaker normal hero ability and made poison sting a lot stronger and his ultimate it might even things out. Just a suggest.

In terms of the items, it's not the damage I am concerned about, it's about their cost. Most players would just pick the dagger because +1250 basic attack damage is way too good in the early game. Compared to the other options. An alternative would be just buffing the items you mentioned and the removing the dagger all together so there's more choice involved. That I am not sure on, suggest asking other players about it. Feel free to be skeptical.

About skills that don't hit non-organic, air units, etc...: I'm doing a full review to make them all consistent (>25 skills concerned^^)

About poison sting, I am making a replacement with AOE effect (probably with an AOE size similar to immolation).

About the bugs (extrem heroes, desync): I am adding in 1.26 logs to a file on your computer. When you encounter a bug, can you please send me the following files to [email protected] ?

I know, I'm trying hard to find the reason.. Apart Archimage's Frigid Armor and Tiny abilities, for the moment I don't have any idea of potential causes...

Indeed, some logs caused laggs & UI bugs (so I had to remove them), and the 4 files I got are not accurate enough for me to narrow the guilty peace of code.

Just a question: are you playing Warcraft III on Linux or Mac ? If yes, with an emulator ? With a the latest game version (1.31.1.12164) or a modified one ?

PS. could you add the potions, the 3 of them, to the castle so that at Extreme 100+ one doesn't have to go to the yellow shops. It's almost impossible to do that at that high difficulty after level 2. It unnecessarily complicates things.
and could you change this: Lags during farm event due to spawn rate not capped. It never crashed my computer only slowed the screen refresh rate, but that way in extreme+ with certain heroes you could get a pretty nice number of kills at special event 2. In version 1.22 1-player ex999 I got 38520 kills, that's impossible with limited spawn rate. The event bonus with capped rate is too small for higher extreme levels.

Mhhh I'd prefer to do the opposite. Stats going crazy high make the game balance going crazy too (for ex: spells become useless, abilities with a % damage become overpowered, etc..). I would prefer capping hero stats, and at the same stat nerf ennemy stats^^

The game now has a serious bug, introduced in 1.26b or c. I thought it was my pc only, but in the last game 1.26c, left clicking sometime works, sometimes doesn't. In double random hero,i f with one hero doesn't work one tries the other, if that doesn't, one goes back to the first one. Several players complained about that and quit. So you can't select potions nor move sometimes, it is really annoying.

There is a curious bug whereby if u use tauren chieftain new level 21, that throws the enemy off at the captain special event, picture related can happen.

After 1.26 Ver, Lev2 Doom skill only applies air units...

Hi, the Shops next to the Castle are blocking some of the Path through which you can't move.
Also the Naga is still OP, played four Games recently and two in Stream of XWizard and everyone 'complained' about the Naga in the Game being OP.
Also it sometimes says that your Inventory is full even through its not. Xwizard for example played the Naga, had one remaining charge of Furbolg in his Inventory and tried to pick one up laying on the Ground, he still had one empty Slot, but it said Inventory is full but i was able to pick it up, also with a remaining Furbolg Charge already in Inventory.
Also they were a lot of complains from the Players i played with as well as from the Viewers in Stream-Chat when i played together with XWizard that the Game gets really repitive, unchallening and boring. Even on higher diificulty its just artificial increased Difficulty, but nothing new of Content or so, and not even hard except for the first few Minutes when you know how to play.

Maybe you could add some 'Bosses' spawning every 5-10 Minutes, similar to the Wave-Creeps and some new Bosses like the ones of the Special Events.

And i would suggest to change the Terrain of the Map from the Icy-Icecrown Citadel to something more Greenish, maybe the Felwood Set. While i do really like Snowy Landscapes in RL, in WC3 they kind of look 'dead' and boring.
Changing that alone can have a huge Impact, i first saw it when i altered an Custom Hero Survival Map which had the Icecrown Citadel Set as well and when i changed it to Green with some Trees it already became much more appealing. And changing the Graphic Set is very simple and doen't take much Time, you could just change the Model/Graphic of the Necropolis to a Corrupted Tree of Life, the Ziggurats to Corrupted Ancient Protector and the Castle which you need to defend to a default Tree of Eternity (The T3 one, or just remain it as a Castle) while the surrounding aka the Map then plays in Felwood with a greenish/grass Ground/Floor.
I can really imagine people also more liking the Map then because of that alone, they did when i changed my CHS Map from Icecrown and Dungeon Set to something Green as well. As said it is way more appealing that way, doesn't look so 'dead/boring' and it kind of feels better to look at it.

Guys I'd like to discuss about game balance. It's a topic that lajr raised recently, and that I'm trying to improve too.
Currently my goal is to obtain a late game where all the features below are equally efficient:

- Normal attacks <-- VS --> Spells
- Normal attacks <-- VS --> Summons damages
- Damage return <-- VS --> Normal attacks
- Absolute damage bonus <-- VS --> % damage bonus

- Heal amount <-- VS --> Damage taken (from either spells or attacks)

But there are many ways to achieve that unfortunately...
Let's start with normal attacks vs spells.


Normal attacks vs spells

The variables are:
- Player stats
- Ennemy stats
- Ennemy armor
- Damage bonuses (excluding debilitation aura that gives same bonus to spells & normal attacks)
(Health point is linear for both spells & damages, so it changes nothing)

Spell damages
- Stronger damage spells do 10 000 damage with a cooldown of 15s. It means a max DPS of ~666 per spell.
- Worse damage spell probably do something like 2000 damage with a cooldown of 10s. It means a DPS of ~200.
- Units have 1 to 4 damage spells (only Dryad has 0).
So we could say that spell DPS is between 200 and 2 600, with a median of 1 400. (this excludes Frost Chaos, Lightning Chaos & Rune Clock).

Normal damages
- For late game, let's consider a min stat at 2000, and a max stat at 12000 (I ignore attribute bonus of Warden to simplify the formula).
- Base damages are approximatively equal to primary attribute. So they go from 2000 to 12000.
- Units can have from +0% to approx +600% damage (critical strike is equivalent to +200% damages).
- Units can have from +0 to ~20 000 damage (lightning sword + assassin blades +1 orb skill).
- I ignore Druid's ability to deal more damages to heroes/units (to simplify the formula).
- If we consider all thoses, damage per hit is between 2 000 and 104 000 (12000*8+20000).

- Currently, maximum attack speed for heroes is 3,33 hits per second. Generally this speed is reached in late game.
- So DPS in late game normal attacks DPS is between 6 600 and 346 000, with a median of 176 000.

So if we resume, in late game:
- Spells: min = 200, median = 1400, max = 2600
- Normal attacks: min = 6600 (33x spells), median = 176 000(125x spells), max = 346 000 (133x spells)

So if I want them equally efficient, I need an armor reduction between 97% and 99,2%.
- Reduction is equal to (armor * 0.06) / (1 + armor * 0.06).
- Armor is equal to reduction / ( 0.06 * ( 1 - reduction) ).
It means an armor between 540 and 1860, median 1200.

Would you agree with this figures ?
Ally stats max: ~12 000.
Ennemy defense max: ~1 900.


And this does not consider summons (from your 1st or 2nd hero in dual mode) that adds normal damages. Also there are some approximations (for ex a mage attacks between spells, he doesn't wait doing nothing^^)

In the latest release, damages return deals from XXX fixed damage and Y% of the received damage.

The value XXX is applied as spell, it ignores armor.
The value Y is applied as normal attack, it is reduced by the ennemy armor.

In the future I may increase the Y value because it is very low currently. However the XXX armor was necessary because most creeps do pathetic damages compared to their hp^^

I admit changing it would be refreshing, but the brightness & color change is so eye-shocking :eek:

Yea, it flashes the Eye when you change it from Icecrown to Felwood in Editor. However when you view it 'Neutral' and especially when you play for a longer Time it really is better.

It took me some time to set properly dark boss/hero stats & test the new version of the map but finally I released 1.28. Some new features may be life-changing on Battle.net, like the new "-host <player name/color/number>" command and host being transfered automatically to topscore player if host leaves.

Mhhhh akward. This usually happen when the map maker uses a widgetizer to protect & minimize the map size. Those tools corrupt the game cache, so if you play different maps crash or desync occurs. I stopped using such tool months ago...

I think the same, it becomes unexciting because:
Issue 0 - Nothing flashy and epic (big spells, cinematics, sounds, streak system, cosmetic rewards...)
Issue 1 - You cannot loose anymore (Castle out of reach, ennemy damages low, no hardcord "die=loose" mode)
Issue 2 - No more randomness (dragon attacks, assassins)
Issue 3 - Boss are simplistic
> No channeling big attacks
> No change in behavior when low hp
> No phases (defending, healing, weakened...)
> Almost 0 minions going with the boss
> Long fights don't become harder​
Issue 4 - No more hero progression (new skills, more stats, ...)
Issue 5 - No rewards (items, quests, ...)
Issue 6 - Poor terrain interactions (no maze, traps, lava...)
Issue 7 - Almost no competition between players (see who did the more damages, race for a goal, ...)
Issue 8 - No "secret" features that players have to discover by themselves.
Issue 9 - No storytelling - red line.

What do you think ? Best I think is that we gather all of our ideas here (yours, mines, ...) and get them voted, no ?

If the map is still the same than at the time I played it, after the defeat of Maghteridon, The Lich King could open new portals that are indestructible which spawns unit we will progressively be stronger and stronger. The idea behind is that you will have to split players in two team, one that keep defending and the other that need to go down LK.
And to be honest the final fight LK is not amazing. It’s just about kitting and destroying obelisks so maybe include some other mechanics ? The way we fight him make us feel like it’s just the event of the mountain king.
To conclude I make those proposals but the last time I played that map was ages agos so it may more be in line with the map. I hust hope it will help.

hi Ricola3d, I'm a big fan of X Hero Siege and found this forum to find the latest map. I downloaded 1.31 and tried on Wc3 Reforged by myself to see how it is, but found that when I click on the base item in the shop, it just closes and there is no way for me to buy any items. I have tried on normal/dual random. Would you be able to fix that? I'll try other modes to see if it's any different. And is your id Ricola because of the candy? I LOVE RICOLA, I was addicted to it 10 years ago eating a bag of those every day for like more than a year. Well, thanks for keeping the map alive!!!

1.29b seems to work great since the menu hasn't changed.

Okay so in 1.29b, it seems that level 3 crits won't spawn unless you kill towers.
Way 1 seems fine, but the rest of the lanes were stuck on level 2.
Finally had a game where people didn't quit right away and was too EZ since we killed the final boss before anyone had 2k kills. That was with 7 people

I want to report a bug!
If Murdain in the game area (becouse your castle needs help) when the first special event starts than the other Muradin in the special event gets removed in less than 1 minutes (makes the event super easy) and the other on the game area stays there forever.

Dear Ricola3d!

Shops are not working very well. Enemyes are attacking after it spawns, also you can spawn as many as you want. Maybe make it invulnerable, and remove from the game after a certain time?

Is it version 1.31 or 1.32 ? Are you playing TFT or Reforged ? :)
Also does it only happen when you launch from the World Editor ?

Shops didn't work at all in 1.31 so I made a few fixes. And I didn't produce the same bug in 1.32 ?

I love your map and played it everyday..
Its balanced though 4/5 overall
I played on 1.32.6 current patch, always desync on Battle net (custom game online)

Pls to fix it

Sorry I've been absent/inactive for a few months.
I just released v1.34 with the hope it will help solve the desync issues. I added tons of logs in the replay.

So please: if you meet a disconnect or crash, send me your Replay file to [email protected] (C:\Users\<your name>\Documents\Warcraft III\Replay\LastReplay.w3g) !!!

I need your help to debug those desync once for all...

Guys I'm back in the game. Latest version should work fine without desync for both classic & reforged !
I also want to develop new things.

Here are what I want to do first:
- Moutain king: replace useless "thunder spirit" ability
- Dryad: replace critical by something else because it doesn't work well with multiple arrow, nerf the hero a little bit
- Paladin: merge taunt & weaken abilities, add a new ability (maybe some bonus proportional to armor ?)
- Huntress: improve or replace level 20 ability ?

I was also thinking about:
- Autoconsumption of potions when low life/mana
- Rebuy option (costs gold) during cooldown when the hero dies

If you've idea of abilities, new heroes, new features or even balance ideas, please share them with me ! Ideas are the most difficult to get when working alone :)

The map desyncs quite often. We couldn't manage to get past 5 minutes without someone dcing.
From my observation it desyncs almost always for the player that chooses the green void walker (don't know its name).

Also we were on the hardest extreme difficulty if that can be the cause of desyncs.

Do you use lua or jass to write the code? I've heard that lua has tendency to desync much more than jass.
I would love to play the game, but it isn't quite possible due to all the dc. :D
