About the Map:
The map is a type of Hero survival and that basically means that you will pick a hero, buy some items and defend your base from waves of units and bosses that wants to destroy you.
You will earn experience and gold by killing enemy units.
You play in a team of 5 and in order to survive you'll have to pick a Tank, a Healer and some Damage dealers.
After the first boss is defeated the city will begin sending troops to help you defend the base.
Each hero have four abilities
Three of those abilities are basic abilities with a maximum upgradeable level of ten
One of those abilities is the Ultimate ability with a maximum upgradeable level of five

and a self defending city

Hello, this map was mainly to be a map for me and my friends to play around with and have some fun but as time has passed by the map began to shape up to be a really good map, so i decided to upload it here and maybe get some feedback and see if this map could become something people would enjoy.
I've always wanted to do a survival kind of a map since my last project, wich was a AoS kind of a map named Heroes of War (HoW), sadly the project died many years ago.
I think this is really fun to work with and it is a little bit of a dream to one day see this map being played on the B-Net and i hope you'll enjoy playing it.

    But regarding the submission rule 5, I think Beta maps still can be uploaded here if i understand it correctly, it just have to be past the Alpha and early beta stages right?

    The rule says: When uploaded, the map must be out of the developmental or alpha stage. You may still add onto a map after updates, but the upload should be a full release. ALPHA and early-BETA versions, "teasers/trailers", etc. can be posted in map development

    I think my map is abit past those stages, maybe more like a late beta stage but thats debatable i guess

    I may be wrong but that's how I perceive it anyway

    Edit: If i need to move it to the map development section, how do i do that? or is it something staff members do for you?

    i believe a staff member would help, a map reviewer will explain more on arrival, the process has been much slower with the pandemic

    if it is passed the early beta stage you can probly drop the beta entirely call it released, your always allowed to update and add content

    I gave this a play the other day. Here's some feedback:
    • The map is quite laggy even at times when there's no action going on.
    • I played on reforged settings but a teammate who played on classic settings advised his hero model was invisible.
    • The wait between waves is quite long sometimes. It really slows the game down (this lead to us quitting the game).
    • Learning tooltips are very long and repetitive. Consider making them shorter.
    Has potential though, the heroes were fun.

    Hello pick-a-chew, thank you for your feedback, it is highly appreciated =)

    Regarding the feedback:

    -The issue with the map being abit laggy is probably because some of my triggers could need some improvements, i'll definitely work on that

    -Why your teammates hero was invisible i have no idea about, but my best guess is that theres still problems within the game itself with these new models that only exists with reforge settings when you play in classic mode.
    So i'd recommend playing this map with reforge settings for now.

    -About the wait issue, there is two units that sometimes can bug the timer if your unlucky, however, the timer will always start again if you just wait a little.
    This is an issue that im aware of and i kinda know whats causing it, but i have not found a solution for it yet, i'll probably remove those units temporarily in the next patch to prevent people from leaving.
    By the way, how do you feel about these 25 seconds between each wave, is it good as it is or should i increase/decrease it?

    -Regarding the learning tooltips, i like to be informative to new players, but i could probably shorten some of them.
    What would you have me change?


    I'm very glad you liked the heroes, they are mainly the core focus of this map and i want to make every one of them feel unique =)
