Action, Horror, Thriller, Comedy, Scifi, Fantasy, Adventure, Romance, Mystery, Anime, Western.

Why didn't you put up eastern movies if you put up western? Not all japanese movies are anime, and there are plenty other places where they make good movies.

Mindhunters - Thriller

5 Centimeters per second - Romance, Anime

The Butterfly Effect - Thriller

Scream - Horror(Classic)

Wondeful Days - Scifi, Anime

Underworld - Action, Scifi, Fantasy

Batman Forever - Action(?) (Because of Jim Carrey as the Riddler)

Dark Water - Horror, Japanese

Nightmare before Christmas - Musical(?)

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

The Unborn - Horror, Thriller

Evolution - Comedy, Sci Fi

Eight Legged Freaks - Comedy, Horror(parody)

Lesbian Vampire Killers - Comedy, Horror(parody)

Shawn of the Dead - Comedy, Horror(parody

Might be i've forgotten some. I'm more into watching series than movies.

saga* i think?

and what movie I watch depends in the mood.

also you forgot one, starts with a p, ends in a y

The correct term would be tetralogy, but quadrilogy has been used before, for Alien if I am not mistaken.

I don't think such a genre of film is suitable as an option for this forum, I mean, most of those here are little kids.

National Treasures D: come on now, its the shame of Nicolas cage (after the ghost rider)
Ice age 3 and Shrek 3 sucked, I personally hate narnia, its a LOTR but for 9 year old's, enjoyed Mortal kombat when I was a child, but watched it 2 month ago (3/4 the movie), couldn't watch more, turned off the tv and went to bed.
Over the hedge sucked also :/ Dream works have better movies than it (Madagascar, Kung fu panda (you already mentioned), shark tale, walas and gromit curse of the were rabbitetc...)
not to forget about the old ones like the legendary "AntZ" and "Sindbad: the legend of the 7 seas"

There's no point to saying something shames Nicholas Cage. He has no visible emotion.

images

I think this is him smiling.

images

This is his concerned look.

He has the same odd, dead-looking eyes. Always. I can only assume that in his childhood, he stumbled upon his parents having sex, then tripped and fell eyes-first onto a can of pepper spray, before sticking his face into a vat of molten steel. And he never recovered.

A former co-worker of mine is a script writer himself and was thinking of putting me into his movie. It'll be called, "GAMERS" and will be sort of like a mix of The Invisible, Donnie Darko, and Charlie Bartlett, for those of you who've seen these you'll know the kind of movie I'm talking about, like the general theme or feeling overall.

Lol...

And no, it's nothing like that at all. It's about a kid who gets too involved with his game obsession that he becomes withdrawn from life itself, and some how gets into trouble with some asian thug kid whom the kid kicked his ass in some internet cafe over a game, so the asian thug kids threatens him after pulling a gun on him in the parking lot, and the kids dad ends up having a stroke from being unhealthy and also was an addict of video games, and this kid ends up meeting a chick and they end up liking each other and more stuff progresses, the kid grabs a gun and ends up killing a guy, just blasts a neighbor in the chest with a shotgun. Awesome shit.

Hi everyone.

So the project this thread was started from the beginning has ended. Thanks for all the answers =). I guess this thread can continue as a "favourite movie genre/good movies/favourite movies thread".

1. What is your favourite movie genre (of the following):
-Horror
-Crime
-Fantasy
-Comedy
-Drama
-History
-War
-Action
-Sci-Fi

My personal favourite genre is Horror. Haunting in Connecticut is one of my favourite movies.
Other than that i like "mind-fuck" movies. Like The Prestige, Fight Club, Donnie Darko etc.
