i thought it would be under add/update resources
but whenever i go into that it logs me out then i login and it puts me in the forums.
wtf do i do?

Log out.
GO to the log in page, and check the "Automatically log in when entering this site" checkbox. Maybe that'll fix you from logging out?

Unfortunately that isnt stopping ME from being logged out every time i go into a new page...

Cookies are the most importing things on the net basically

They save information. Make sure your firewall isn't blocking them
