Water Flow

I am actually trying to design a model which can (when several instances of the model are put together) look like a constant, solid flow of water, and can also be spammed in the screen, without causing lag. The width would probably count 5 units, and length a lot more than that.

Water Elemental missile was my first guess, but it just looked ugly.

I think it should have low or no poly, and particle emmiters with low emition count, but large particles. And I guess a fitting ribbon emmiter should help a lot.
