Most people here want WoW lore in wc3 campaigns, look at Curse of Forsaken and Chronicles of Second war for example. This campaign was supposed to do the opposite by ignoring all WoW story. Perhaps Sometime after the announcement, the author realized the fact that THW community would prefer a campaign with WoW story and cancelled this campaign to make sure it doesn't flop. Maybe he is making a new campaign or has abandoned wc3 modding.
