I have collected and ripped tileset textures from War3 Alpha/Beta screenshots. You can edit and use them however you want.

    Tileset Textures: 78
    Format: .PNG

It is possible to use these textures in-game using ubersplat tile method.

I can't really say that they're a much better quality(should be obvious since this are alpha/beta tiles) than the official tiles but I can say that they looks good together.

    EDIT:

You can try writing/linking a tutorial for this.

Keep in mind that these were ripped from images. The quality has been drastically altered from the original .BLP. There is no way to acquire the original .BLP tile-sets, because alpha/beta wasn't released nor leaked.

You can also edit these textures to make them look better using photoshop, Gimp or any image editing software.

I'm afraid I can't help you with that, sorry.

I think sharpening it a little can improve the quality a little.

I don't have problem with it since I prefer using Talavaj's turftile to add additional tiles on my map but some people might want to learn this ubersplat thingy. Anyway, there are still an option of adding it normally so no biggie.

Also we can rework the tiles to look like the ones o exist in Warcraft instead tho be a texture square, I think there's an application to make that easier instead working on Photoshop and Paint.net... I just think, I'm not sure... :/

Using the ubersplat method you can do triangle, circle or any shape you want.

The tree textures were so much better in Beta than in the retail version. I don't know why they removed them and used low quality textures instead.

That's actually true... I really think blizzard shouldn't have change the textures from the Alpha/Beta since they were much better than the actual ones... :/
