exactly it was a plague doctor, there is a creepypasta of it. I think they also existed in the dark ages (middle ages) when a plague irrupted to villagers. Plague Doctor used various methods to heal and remove any infection and disease of the plague, even killing the infected if necessary to contain the infection.

They were specifically hired by towns that had many plague victims in times of plague epidemics. Since the city was paying their salary, they treated everyone: both the rich and the poor. However, some plague doctors were known for charging patients and their families extra for special treatments and/or false cures. They were not normally professionally trained experienced physicians or surgeons, and often were second-rate doctors not able to otherwise run a successful medical business or young physicians trying to establish themselves. They were not executioners.

The costume along with the beak were created in 1609. It would literally be impossible to have used it before then. The beak contained perfumes and holes to breathe through. They believed what spread the infection was the putrid smell of rotting corpses, so they filled their beaks with perfume.

Those that they could not be treated however, were piled up and burned.

Glad you released it. I love your models so bad, but what do you use to make them? Also, nice use of textures, and I love that crow, reminds me of something. Good Job, +rep!

That what I said, they killed or burned the unsuccessful patients. This model could be excellent in epidemic maps that take place in medieval (middle) ages.
