I'm trying to make it so that everytime my unit shoots it plays an attack sound but since the unit is a custom unit will I need to import like a unit data or something? If so how?
Use a trigger. I don't have the World Editor with me, but you just do the event when "Unit is Attacked," do a Unit-Type condition comparison, then play your sound.
Playing the same sound more times can't be done in GUI, as it uses global sounds. The only solution i have for you is to stop the sound when a unit attacks, then play it after.
