unit balancing help?

i need help, ive only finished the triggers.. i created the units in object editor, just need the unit values changed to something SLIGHTLY balance. i am a crappy balancer but a good triggerer...lol
i cant even do it for beans , considering beans cant be transferred over the internet...

they dont need to be perfectly balanced just generally...

Just play test it a bunch. If you play several games and discover that the same side keeps winning- start making adjustments, starting with whatever it looks like is causing that side to win everytime (spells, buffs, HP, ect).

Yes, it IS simple....

Are you implying its too hard to play the map, see what the imbalances are and then fix them? Its just changing numbers in the object editor...

Its like this:

If unit A is killing unit B too darn fast, either lower the damage/attack rate of unit A, or raise the armor/HP of unit B until the battle is not so one sided.

The best way to balance out a game is to play repeatedly. Text all the units. if it keeps comeing out as the custom units defeat the normal units, then mabe you should ajust them. the basic soldier (for the normal race) if fighting in a 1 on 1 it should be about a draw. Sure one may always win the fight, but that makes it the better unit. look at the other race disect every thing. look in all the corners. its not too hard.
