New little model Holy Chainmail Priest

Ty all who gave me suggestions in my last thread nobody seemed to be vistiting it anymroe so i made this one and oh i been doing stuff using the chainmail tutorial i gave a priest some chainmail and a new cape here it is,mind that the cape looks bad but looks better in-game ty EDIT:changed the picture now his little pack is chainmail too later today or tomorrow im gonig to turn his body leather into mail too_Ok i changed the body into mail the leather strip is still there for not looking wierd perposes tell me if i need to do anything more.

i didn't give a tutorial but there is one lok in 2d tutorials. Also can somebody make a tutorial on alpha skinning using gimp 2 becuase i can't do it with the current tutorial on alpha skinnig it don't work >.<

Well I kinda get it but not the thing what it is. I mean a guy told me to shade my Ritualist model and i just couldnt do it I didnt know what should i do.

-.- first i feel like i did a good job then it gets ruined ><. Well techanlly it's circles and no its not a filter(no idea what a filter is).I made it in gimp 2 and it looks good in-game ,but you have your oppinion and i accept that.You didn't really tell me what to do to make it better just said what i did and that its bad.....

Hmm, the chainmail... tbh is horrid. Chainmail is not a bunch of circles next to each other I think you need to see it in real life.

The best thing i can tell you to do is too not make the chain so uniform there has to be pieces linking the chain together or else it does not work.
get some ref pics.

plus work on your shading. the shading you have right now is random and flat. think of the location of the light source and work from that. look at how metal reacts to light in real life and try to mimic it in your skins.

i may post an example of one method of doing chainmail on a "skin" later.
