Tuskar models have been found in the latest PRT patch. In the model viewer you can give them armor and weapons, much like the Naga.

Ugh, these are ugly. Their head sticks out too much from their heads. In WC3 it was back further and more or less in the same blob as their body. Made them look more like walruses.

And also, the WoW modelers have a tendency to make creatures with extremely slouched low shoulders... that looks really bad too, makes them look weak :\

I haven't personaly played with these models, but it looks as if they use the same skeleton as Tauren and Akama.

Blizzard should start making new skeletons and animations in my opinnion :( .

*EDIT* Sorry I realized that the Vrykul use Human animations, not Orc.

What I really dislike about WoW is the size of Bosses and Elites, it just doesn't seem natural that Illidan for example is like 10 times the size of a normal Night Elf. Is the only reason for this that it would be easier to target him or something?

I just think it's ridicilous.

I agree, WoW is absolutely stupid for doing that

Pity about no new animations but I find these tuskar models a great improvement in quality and the wc3 ones are really ugly and just resemble a bald distorted human. These ones really pack the walrus quality and I like that, i think these new models are great.

Silence, heretic! WoW models are abominations!

*(not like the undead ones...lol)

In wc3 bosses were huge as well...
But no where near as huge as they are in WoW.
While I can understand that things like Archimonde, Thunderaan, Ragnaros, Kil'jaeden, Murmur, Frostlord (2.4.0) and the Qiraji Prophets are huge, I simply DO NOT understand while things like Illidan, Arthas, Kel'thuzad and people like that must be so god damn HUGE.

Will Blizzard finally put Arthas into the MPQ's by mistake?

Not in the .MPQ's yet, but heres the model.

It's really painful to look out. It's just close enough to tell it's Arthas, and yet to far to see any detail. Good thing is that he looks to scale of a human.

I've just played around with Tuskar extensively and am happy to report that they do have their own set of animations.

Gameplay reasons mainly, so people in the raid full of 25 other people can target them

Imagene having to target a Night Elf sized Illidan when you've got giant tauren warriors all around him. Not going to be particularly easy

This is why we have the auto-target button ._.

If they were all small, people would complain. Plus bosses that have multiple parts you need to target, like C'Thun's tentacles
I think you missed my point... Bosses like C'thun, Archimonde, Kil'jaeden, different dragons and Elemental Lieutenants can be huge in my opinnion, since they are supposed to be huge in lore! However bosses who are about the same size as their race in lore, like Arthas, Illidan, Kael'thas, are way too big in my opinnion in WoW.

And you're missing my point of gameplay reasons. Blizzard do not expect everyone to use the Auto Target button. Therefore, they make all of the bosses large, even if they're meant to be normal sized, according to lore. This is because Blizzard is like that

The bosses are so big so you can see them in a raid. You don't feel quite as good after killing a boss when you can't even see it's melodramatic death animation.
