Hi all, i'm using the Sleep spell as a base spell, and I want to make the sleep spell like the Silence spell...but not AoE. How would I do that?

I don't need it to stun/sleep the person, I just want it to Mute him, or make all of his spells unable to be used for a certain amount of time.

Um how will giving it the buff make it work as sleep....
These are not SC2 behaviours, you can not change the buff and have a ability suddenly behave like another.

Simply use sould burn but set to do no damage. It is single target, it blocks all spells (but passive ones) and has a duration. The text might be a problem but its simply the easiest solution.

The other solution involves triggers and dummy units so is best avoided.
