Trigger lag from variables?

Hi guys

I've seen some people posting about reducing the amount of arrays and variables used in a spell to reduce memory use... do arrays/variables lag up the game or something? how can i tell? bcoz my map uses over 50 different variables, most of them arrays...

Hmmm i don't think LOTS of arrays/variables/triggers lag the game, my map is over 300 triggers and over 400 variables but no lag at all except for some custom heavy spells/special effect that lag for couple seconds, i heard some peoples said that lots of triggers will lag the game, after i tried to test them out, i dont think so, the game lagged ? i'm not sure about your map but to me and my map, the game lag cause of Max terrains/units/dooads too much same actions at the sametime using TGA files Loading screen creates invalid triggers or variables (for example, you put every triggers in TRIGGERING UNITS and everything triggering units over and over) especially the special effects, its lag bad sometimes though, you can check out COT Pom and Julien's RPG maps, how lag they are, you only have around 50 variables in your map, dont worry about lag, cause i tested with my map and proved that lots of variables/triggers WILL NOT LAG THE GAME !
