(I'm XmrNiceguyx's girlfriend, he let me borrow his account for the sake of this issue). I am making a map. As of now, I made a few trigger groups. Basically, after map initialization, the timer will begin countdown, after this, creeps will spawn, will walk around, explode, and the timer starts again (yeah, it's a start for a TD). This works quite perfectly as long as I don't add a leaderboard. When I do this, nothing works anymore. I have heard this was a bug in the editor.
I created a seperate category called Leaderbord (so it's not in Map Initialization!). If I have the event set to Elapsed Game Time X Seconds, the leaderboard will be created. However, if I do this, the timer will not be created, nor will it countdown, and nothing will spawn. However, if the Timer event is Every X Game seconds, the timer is created, however, it is created every X seconds (which basically means it creates an endless amount of timers). If the event is Elapsed Game Time X seconds, it works fine for the first spawn, but of course, when it's supposed to loop and start again, it won't, as the Elapsed Game Time has passed ages ago. Also, if the first action of both Leaderboard and timer, or one of them, is Wait X seconds, nothing will happen (no timer, leaderboard, or spawn).
What the crap? How can I fix this?
Any help or input much appreciated.
Awesome. So now even the old version I saved which worked PERFECTLY before I tried the stuff with the leaderbord isn't working anymore. I really need a solution guys. Much appreciated.
Okay, so I copied the entire map of triggers to an older version of my map and it works fine again (which still forces me to remake a lot of regions and characters). I know the leaderbord + timer thing is a bug but the fuck-up-factor of this bug goes beyond my imagination. Solutions, workarounds, whatever much appreciated still.
