Hi im not very active on hive but i found this map and I loved the unique production system, Savagery, Resilience and Acid Breath on ranged fliers.
I played the map a couple of times and noticed some stuff:
Bugs:
- Many times I happen to go over 200 Nightpower (201, 202, 203 etc)
- Venomblade E can be maxed by lvl 3
- Greenfin Oracle's Watershield tooltip desc bugged
Gameplay problems:
- No way to restore health (on T1) to injured units (HU = Scroll of Regeneration; Orc = Healing Salve; UD = Blight, Cannibalize, Burrow; NE = Moonwells) (suggestion: Submerge regen / regen on water / item in shop)
- Given its very high mana costs, Thunderstorm is simply too easy to walk away from and the total damage output is dissapointing
- Blazewing stats dont match their cost (lower gold and food cost)
- Lacking anti-air (Blazewing too underpowered compared to Garg, Hippo, Flyingmachine, Bat etc, both t3 units cant attack air, Ensnare cant target air)
- Eye of the depths lasts too short (expires before reaching bases on the other side even in night time with x2 Nocturnal upgrades) and too expensive (im sure scouting with units is more worth than spending 70 mana everytime)
- Towers dont offer enough to make up for the weakness that they are absolutely helpless against ranged attackers
- I love Bloodfangs as a T1 melee siege but god do they feel useless (not to be rude just to express the level of lack of power and role)
Polishing:
- Cancel unit production with ESC
I have some more small polishing and gameplay suggestions if you want but this is enough for now
Clear most of these and ill give it a nice rating
(if i dont forget to visit hive again)
