My name is the TheSandWraith. I have been modding for about 2-3 years now. My favorite maps to make are usually rpg maps, but recently i have had a craving to make a new, revamped version of the classic survival maps, like Island Troll Tribes. I am currently at work on this survival map, which is un-named, and another desert-style rpg, that i feel is pretty unique. Although i have been a memeber for about 3 months now, i felt like intoducing myself, so here i am. Any questions just ask.

Me, release maps? well, honestly, ive never actually released a map. I know its kinda strange, but im very particular, almost too particular. But i have made many maps. The reason why i havnt released any maps? Well im too particular, i usually find something i dont like in it and trash it, but the real reason is ive still been learning how to do everything, the triggering was easy, but i always had a problem with terraining, and recently i feel i have become very good. These 2 maps im working on now, have exeptionally good terrain, if you want to see i can show you. So thats why, but i promise i will release atleast one of these 2 ;)

EDIT: BTW, i was wondering, i see that all of you guys have awsome rep points (the gems under your names) and i just wanted to know how i can get those. Thank you.

Welcome to The Hive Workshop!

Greetings TheSandWraith. By all means, please submit your completed maps to our public sesource section.

The Hive includes many talented Warcraft III modders of all skill levels among its users. New members (especially friendly ones) are always welcome. Take a look around and enjoy your stay, may it be long and productive!

Some good places to start include:Searching the site using the above link always helps, you can learn a lot that way: just reading and learning is usually the best place to start, especially if one feels overwhelmed.

Likewise, the tutorials can really teach ALL of us a thing or two.

The chat room is cool: lots of people can answer questions there.
  • A few other tips that might help too:
    • Always search first! Did I already mention THAT?
    • When creating a new thread, make the title VERY specific: so the site's search engine (and we users) can easily understand just what the thread contains.
    • Post your new threads in the proper forum: read the descriptions of each one so that you know what to post there.
    • If all else fails, just send me a private message! I'll try to do whatever I can to help.

Thanks guys your awsome, and yes i have enjoyed this site very much, its very awsome. The only problem ive had is the resorce section (maps, models, skins, etc.) is very messy but it doesnt really matter. I love the forums and try to post and use em alot. But i dont think ill post any of my earlier maps, because most of em arnt even finsihed, although, i have been thinking of redoing, or going back to one of my first projects, WCC, or Warcraft Crossing. Anyway, thanks a ton for all the help.

Also, can i get rep by posting my terrain screenies? Not to brag but i feel im a pretty good terainer.
