The Final Dream is a { Hide & Seek } map where 2 teams will try to eliminate each other.
The first team consists of 9 Elves called "Aluvians" and the second team consists of 3 Infernals called "Lixtrons".
The only condition to win is to eliminate all of the opposing team simultaneously.

  • The Aluvians (team 1) were a special race that lived in harmony with nature and wanted to colonize and change the whole world for the better. One day a strange race of creatures called "Lixtrons" began to attack and kill them.

    As soon as the Aluvians realized they could not win in a direct confrontation with these monsters, they lured them into a one-way portal that led to a new world covered in an ancient and forgotten forest. There it was possible to collect the energy generated by the Aluvians' presence into a growing spirit called "Aluviu". They needed only to survive for 45 minutes before Aluviu reached full power.

    If this "Aluviu" became fully charged, each Aluvian in that world would receive a very powerful Goddess under his control with which he could try to kill those Infernals so they could be in harmony with nature again.


  • The Lixtrons (team 2), on the other hand, were a race that destroyed everything in their path to gain power and wanted the Aluvians killed because of their desire to change the world. Although these monsters did not have the power to build like their enemies, they were formidably strong and could devour everything in their path.

//////////////Introduction
  • At game start, a timer will show up at the top right of a screen with 45 minutes and will start to countdown. If this timer expires and there is still at least one living Elf: each player on team 1, as long as they are still in the game, will receive a powerful Goddess under their control with which they can try to kill the Infernals. If all players on team 1 are dead, the timer is stopped and the Infernals win!
  • Also, at the beginning, each player from team 1 will spawn in the middle of the map with an Elf while each player from team 2 has 12 seconds to choose which Infernal they want to play. Team 2 players will be assigned a random infernal after 12 seconds if they have not chosen, and then all infernals spawn in the middle of the map.
  • If an Elf dies, every unit and every building of his is destroyed and (as long as the killing blow was made by a unit from Team 2) a bonus experience and resource bounty is rewarded to the killing Infernal. The dead Elf will spawn in the middle of the map as a trapped wisp and will not be able to leave the center of the map until saved.
  • As an Aluvian, you can Save your trapped allies with an offensive unit. Use the "A" key on the trapped wisp if you want to save him.
  • However, if all Elves are trapped simultaneously they all die and team 1 loses the game (even after the 45 minute countdown).
  • If a Lixtron dies, he dies forever along with all of his units. An experience and resource bounty is awarded to the killer if they are an Aluvian.
  • The only condition to win is to kill the enemy team.

//////////////How to play?
  • As an Aluvian, you have 3 ways to try to win the game.
    1. Hide somewhere in the woods and just survive without feeding the enemies and wait for your Goddess in order to be able to kill the infernals.
    2. Another strategy is to build farms around the map to gain resources in order to make a strong base and, if you're strong enough, you can defend the base from the Infernals.
    3. Also, you can build a lot of farms to make a hero and, if you're strong enough, you can kill the Infernals before the timer runs out.

    Tricks and tips for Elves:
    1. Every Tree on the map can be killed using the "A" key with your Elf or any unit which can destroy trees.
    2. You can only Blink to locations you can see, and Watch Towers reveal a big area. Cancel the construction after you blink away to not leave a trail.
    3. It's way harder for Infernals to find you if you regrow the trees destroyed by you in order to hide your tracks.
    4. Also, you can destroy your farms if the infernals know your location in order not to feed them.
    5. In the early game use your spell "True Sight Area" to kill the permanent shades often before the infernals can make too many.




  • As a Lixtron, you can win in only 1 way.
    1. Kill every Elf on the map while preventing them from rescuing the trapped Elves in the center of the map.

    Tricks and tips for Infernals:
    1. Acolytes can spawn permanent shades, so you can put shades in every base or make the shades to patrol the map.
    2. Use your Crystal Ball often. It can be upgraded to level 3 for better vision.
    3. You can buy Skeletons from the shop to patrol the center of the map like a guard for trapped Elves.
    4. You're able to share your resources with your allies.
    5. If the timer runs out, you can still win the game.

  • After 3 minutes of gameplay, the Ancient buildings will be on.
    There are 2 Ancient buildings on the map.
    Tree of Ages & Ivory Tower.
    The Ancient buildings are used to disable the enemy team's vision.
    You may disable or enable the vision for your team as well, so, be careful which Ancient you attack.
    The Tree of Ages[can be attacked by anyone] will change only the vision of Aluvians [ON(5min+) or OFF(3min+)].
    The Ivory Tower[can be attacked only by Styk, Hero, Infernal or Goddess] will change only the vision of Lixtrons[ON(3min+) or OFF(1min+)].
    While Aluvians' vision is OFF, the "fog of war" will constantly turn into a "black mask" for them & each Styk will lose 250 range of his vision.

  • Infernals can spawn permanent Shades with Acolyte and, as Elf, you can kill every shades on the map with Watch Towers.

  • When the timer shows 35 minutes, Three Special Green Shops will spawn in the middle of the map and will travel randomly.
    When the timer shows 25 minutes, Two Special Orange Shops will spawn in the middle of the map and will travel randomly.
    When the timer shows 15 minutes, One Special Red Shop will spawn in the middle of the map and will travel randomly.

    Each group of these shops has special items.

    Can teleports the owner to an Elysian Gate. Very useful if you want to escape.

    Item Type: Charged.

    Casting Delay: 3 Seconds.

    Cooldown: 47 Seconds.

    Teleport to you one of your units or allies. This item has Global Range.
    Multiple sources of this item do not stack. Very useful if you want to save yourself or an ally.

    Item Type: Permanent.

    Cooldown: 275 Seconds.

  • As Aluvian..
    You can receive Emerald and Ethereal Shards from Farms and only Emerald Shards from almost every enemy unit on the map.
    Also, you will receive passively 1 Emerald and 1 Ethereal Shard every 5 seconds of the game.

    As Lixtron..
    You can actively receive Emerald Shards from almost every enemy unit on the map and Ethereal Shards only from Aluvian buildings.
    Also, you will receive passively 3 Emerald and 3 Ethereal Shards every 5 seconds of the game.

    *As a trick, it is possible to transfer your resources to your allies or Exchange your Emerald into Ethereal Shards at Aluviu.
  • There are 3 Bosses on the map which can give you some money and same rare items.

    1.Agamand the True in the City
    Will give you approx. 100 Emerald Shards and a Goblin Night Scope

    2.SynRex on the top right of the map
    Will give you approx. 1000 Emerald Shards and the Ring of Protection (+175) Armor

    3.Monnarath on the bottom left of the map
    Will give you approx. 3500 Emerald Shards and the Claws of Attack (+666) Damage

    *You cannot sell those items for resources.
  • Neutral creeps can give you a small amount of Emerald Shards and Experience

    1.Spider Region - bounty between 66 and 78 Emerald Shards
    2.Village Region - bounty between 753 and 869 Emerald Shards + Boss
    3.SynRex Region - bounty between 64 and 74 Emerald Shards + Boss
    4.Monnarath Region - bounty between 424 and 442 Emerald Shards + Boss
  • The village is a good place to start off as an Infernal if you're looking for a quick way to get Emerald Shards.
    It is located on the left side of the map, just bellow the winter region.

Greetings & thanks for the feedback, but I have a few things to say.
The terrain layout is quite similar to that of Tree Tag.
In most Tree Tag versions, usually, the terrain is mostly flat land and easily accesible, where as in TFD the terrain is very complex, with different biomes and bases are mostly harder to acces.
The "enemy" (chaser) seems to appear too fast.
I am not sure what you base that on. Perhapse, if you were to compare it to other tag maps, but i can say that, from my experience, the spawn timer for Lixtrons is enough to give the Aluvians a good chance to escape.
You can even cross over the river without using blink before they spawn as you can see in the youtube videos from the original post.
Upgrades like True Sight and other have passive ability looking icons. They should have borders. You could make them with: Button Manager v1.8.2
There were two icons that needed this change.
As you can see, I've solved the issue.

The general concept of a tag map is that there is 2 teams, Runners and Taggers.
The runners usually have to run away from the Taggers and they build defensive bases to prevent them from being captured.
In general, there is a time limit that Runners have to survive in order to win and usually, the taggers have to kill all the Runners before the time runs out.
In almost every single tag map captured runners can be saved by their allies when they are attacked or sometimes just by walking over the center of the map.
There can be many different variations to this concept. For example: Vampirism Speed, Vampirim Fire, Sheep Tag, Kodo Tag, Tom & Jerry, Tree Tag, Troll vs Elves, etc.
What all these maps have in common is the basic concept of a "tag" game, but at the same time, they differentiate when it comes to win conditions, lore, systems and overall gameplay.
Other than that, it's an old school map, pretty much a Tree Tag copycat.
I would agree that the map is old school, but I would have to ask you to elaborate on what you mean by "copycat" in this case.
What exactly makes The Final Dream a "copycat"? From my perspective, the only similarity between the two, excluding the genre itself, is the Infernal as a Tagger.

Maybe you could improve it with game modes and custom and diverse systems.
I wouldn't mind adding gamemodes and further diversify the systems if I get more feedback in the future.
For example, I did add some events like the "Shared Vision System", "Special Airship Shops" and I'm curently working on a new Bounty Event with Special Shards.
