Congratulations to antihero on his Gladiator skin for winning Texturing Competition #4!
The scores are determined by the skin's rating plus the votes it got. You can see the public poll results here.

1st Place

Entry #9: Gladiator
Composition 9/10:
The skin is put together almost flawlessly. Everything looks good together.
Shading 10/10:
The shading is excellent. The skin tones are great, and the metal has great lighting.
Creativity 3/5:
Making him into a gladiator was not very creative, but the concept was very new.
Score: 22/25

Overall Score:
(22/25/ +13/71)/2 = 53.2%

2nd Place

Entry #7: Wookie
Composition 8/10:
You did really well with this skin. The fur/hair and armor are all put together very well and do not look out of place in anyway.
Shading 7/10:
You did well with the fur, but some parts of the armor aren't shaded that well.
Creativity 5/5:
By far the most creative, the idea fits the model very well and is something completely different.
Score: 20/25

Overall Score:
(20/25/ +16/71)/2 = 51.3%

3rd Place

Entry #4: ominous purple-ish blue blob
Composition 7/10:
The composition is pretty good on this one, but there is very little color variation, and there are weird parts like having his stomach muscles go through his crotch.
Shading 6/10:
Overall it is nice, very dark though. Also the shading is over very small parts not the whole, or at least most of, the skin. You need to pay attention to where light would fall.
Creativity 5/5:
Very creative, you went to the next step of creating something totally different.
Score: 18/25

Overall Score:
(18/25/ +7/71)/2 = 40.9%

4th Place

Entry #1: Orc Warrior
Composition 7/10:
It has nice composition, isn't anything special, but it is nice overall. It could have used a little more variation in the armor, or something to add some other colors to it.
Shading 7/10:
Again nice, but nothing special. It's a tad blurry in places, but has a good feel overall.
Creativity 3/5:
The race was changed, which is a plus, but not much else.
Score: 17/25

Overall Score:
(17/25/ +8/71)/2 = 39.6%

5th Place

Entry #8: Chaos Warrior of Mild Discomfort
Composition 6/10:
Although the armor looks nice, it needs more variation and colors.
Shading 6/10:
The shading is okay, but you need to make it very the light would fall, and where it wouldn't fall, not just random places. Also it is fairly blurry in parts.
Creativity 1/5:
All you really did was change the armor a tad and make it darker.
Score: 13/25

Overall Score:
(13/25/ +19/71)/2 = 39.4%

6th Place

Entry #10: Gladiator
Composition 7/10:
Things fit together very nicely, but it could have done with a few different colors.
Shading 6/10:
Overall the shading is pretty good, but some parts are really lacking. It feels almost as if the skin was not finished.
Creativity 3/5:
Again not the most creative, but the skin does not at all resemble the old one.
Score: 16/25

Overall Score:
(16/25/ + 5/71)/2 = 35.5%

7th Place

Entry #6: Pirate Marauder
Composition 7/10:
I actually really like the look you were going for. You could have added a little more to exaggerate things some.
Shading 4/10:
The skin has some shading, but it is blurry and undefined. Next time try to use harder brushes to really bring out the shading.
Creativity 3/5:
Not the most creative idea, but still creative nonetheless.
Score: 14/25

Overall Score:
(14/25/ +1/71)/2 = 28.7%

8th Place

Entry #5: The Forest Warrior
Composition 5/10:
I can see what you were trying to get at, but your skin is too simple.
Shading 3/10:
The skin is really lacking in this area, some parts don't even have any shading.
Creativity 3/5:
It was a nice idea.
Score: 11/25

Overall Score:
(11/25/ +1/71)/2 = 23.4%

9th Place

Entry #3: Beastman of Apollo|Ingame Pictures
Composition 4/10:
Not that much was changed, the helmet and pauldrons are lacking. The armor is very plain, try to be more creative next time and change things up more.
Shading 3/10:
The only real noticeable shading is on the chain mail part and the pauldrons.
Creativity 2/5:
You could have changed a lot more.
Score: 9/25

Overall Score:
(9/25/ +0/71)/2 = 18%

10th Place

Entry #2: Cartoon Man
Composition 2/10:
Nothing fits to the model very well, the random colors hurt me eyes.
Shading 0/10:
It has no shading.
Creativity 2/5:
It's special... I guess?
Score: 4/25

Overall Score:
(4/25/ +1/71)/2 = 8.7%
