I didn't download your version of the map but I'm sure it's a hacked version of Masa1's map.
I don't think I have encountered the said bugs and flaws you mentioned and you are going to find answers in this thread to many stuff.
I think you are going to like this map much better

errr.. Hey, I did not see that here on hiveworkshop before I uploaded and yes I checked.

I searched for "Survival 1.16, Survival 1.17, and Survival 1.18" and came up with diddly squat.

I don't know if my version is hacked or not. I did not make it, and I couldn't find a higher map version before now.

Well, this map is updated like every second day, lol So it must have been hard to miss it. I'm sure yours is hacked, but nevermind, I guess you checked the original one by now.
