Supremacy v0.97 Altered Melee - Arena

-New map, smaller.
-Now the protectors do not have a life time.
-Now the protectors have 2000 health points (they don't count as structures).
-Protectors now have invulnerability for up to 5 + (2*NumberOfPlayers) minutes.
-Reduced the amount and area of effect of regeneration and armor granted by protector auras.
-Increased the amount of gold in player mines.
-Added a new neutral building "Temple of summons" in the far corners of the map. Allows you to summon neutral hostile bosses in the center of the map (they award gold and lumber to the player who kills them).
-Heroes revive time reduced from half the normal time to a quarter of the normal time.

-Reworked Ember Spirit

-Added 1 new tavern hero "The Penguin King"

Fixed
-Fixed the bug, where there was a chance to get a useless hero when using Random hero training.

-Moved to reforged, fixed most bugs with the damage engine.
-A new and latest version has been created in the classic warcraft (0.951).
-Changed the time it takes to reveal player structures from 60 to 45 minutes.
-Changed position of mana and health fountains.

-Added 2 new tavern heroes (Hossor & Phoenix) (40->42).

-New hero "Terrorblade" has been removed (28 -> 27)
-Some descriptions have been corrected.

Supremacy 0.97

What is it and what does it consist of?
It is an altered melee map, in the following aspects:


Resource gathering is twice as fast.
Altar revive heroes in quarter the time.
Bosses in the center of the map, if any of the player summons them.
Player's gold mines have 35,000 gold.
Maximum food is 150.
43 new heroes in the taverns.
27 new items.
Altars have the option to train a new random hero.
Generally rushes are avoided, thanks to a defensive structure.
If a match reaches 45 minutes, players gain shared vision of all other players' structures.
Max hero level is 15.
Max movement speed is 500.
Gold mines that are not occupied by players at the beginning of the game are removed.


Recommend playing with 12 players for a better experience.

A credits list in the map description with the names of the authors whose resources you've used is mandatory. That includes models, skins, icons, custom spells, systems. Also, sounds, music and everything outside this site.

From the short description, it seems like a meager edit.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.

It's a nice map that needs a lot of polish, balancing.

Sry but about the heroes spells, is it necessary that for all spells to be new (and not a modification of existing ones) for an altered melee map ?
or is that something personal ?

Don't worry, it's not personal, here the demand is high, don't take the reviews as attacks, they are not. And do not be discouraged, if it is the first thing you go up you should be happy because it has been approved, most take longer to adapt to the level.

One tip, take advantage of the fact that there are people who play and detail points to improve the content you upload, that will make you improve and in a while you will end up creating much better things.

thank you very much for commenting too, but I don't take @deepstrasz review as an attack xd, on the opposite I feel very grateful that he tested my map.
I only ask that because I don't really know what features an altered melee map should have.
If anything i say seems like an attack it's because i'm using google translator because my english is not very good to write it (i understand english better than writing it xd).

Aah ok, some skills are based on others already existing but modified because I didn't want to create so complicated skills (to make it easier for users to understand), but I will try to make all skills have some triggers.

Created an account to say I really like your map :thumbs_up:
I feel like the varied heroes make this map very enjoyable, good job.
Only played vs bots so far and while they don't exactly buy items I make up for it by giving them numbers and it can get quite challenging

Would be fun to see this stuff on other maps aswell, but I understand that is a lot of work

Thanks for the feedback, at the moment I am still improving the map under my own criteria, in a few weeks I will update it again improving some descriptions. (You have probably read ambiguous or not very understandable descriptions, this is due to the fact that my native language is Spanish and not English).
My final goal is to create an A.I. capable of using items and using the new heroes.
