Rui's review on "Starwood" (melee map by Johan 'Atlerik' Samuelsson)

Like (I think) I've mentioned in the previous melee maps I played from you, adding a minimap picture is cool and all, but makes people unable to check the real minimap while playing on Battle.Net.

Let's start with the terrain. It is well structured, like that of most of your 1v1 maps. It has a decent ground texture variation and elevation. The middle part, however, screwed the picture.

The neutral buildings are well chosen and distributed.
I've got a little critique for the Goblin Merchants: delete a few trees in order to make the access to it angled instead of square.

The drops are not as good, but I must point out that you they're OK comparing to some I've seen.
I played the map yesterday, so I can't remember quite well, but there were three green creep camps for each player: a pair of Mud Golems, a Gnoll Brute and two Gnoll (Poacher?) companions, and a Gnoll Warden with another Gnoll.
The first two are OK, they dropped a lvl1 powerup and lvl1 permanent, right? If that was so, then it is OK.
I remember quite well that the Gnoll Warden and his mate dropped a lvl2 charged. That is too high.
The other items were alright, I believe.

One last note: fix the holes on the trees.

My rating for this map is 3/5 (Useful).
