I'm trying to make a unit that has a bounce attack that splashes on each hit. I've seen it in the Warcraft Maul maps with the Night Elf races Huntress tower. I tried to look at it. I thought it was because attack 1 was splash, and attack 2 bounce. I tried that and no go.

So... Any ideas anyone?

i really have no idea if this is possible, or even if my idea is gonna help, add a burning oil effect to your tower/unit and make it last like .5 seconds and do damage every .49 seconds. Maybe, it will bounce AND burn the ground in all the areas. You'll hafta come up with an art for burn oil though... Hope this helps XD

Well, so far, I have a bouncing tower and a trigger that fires every time the tower damages a unit. Then at each point of the unit which were hit, it adds all units within a certain radius and cycles through them dealing damage to them equal to the damage the tower originally dealt. But this method is sloppy and causes a LOT of lag due to how often the trigger is called.

I'm pretty sure I can get away with the bounce/splash effect without the use of Abilities, however I'll take what suggestions you have for me into consideration nevertheless.

All of my attempts so far have failed. I'm thinking about just changing the towers effect altogether so it won't interfere with other towers.

But again, if anyone has any other ideas on a bounce/splash attack, do tell.

Thanks for the insight thus far.
