I've got a problem with one of my abilities.
The ability works fine when cast, but the tooltip and icon etc are that of Feral Spirit, which I based my ability on. However, when I've learned it, it's the same, but when I cast it, it works like the spell is supposed to.
Any ideas?

I don't understand why it's not showing up right. It was before. The only thing I've done in regards to that spell is change the units it spawns. Previously, I had simply changed the Spirit Wolf units so that it would spawn the same units, but they'd be different.
Then I realized; I can simply make custom units and change the "Units Spawned" part of the spell. So, I guess this is what did it, since I've done nothing else to the ability.

I'm new to the FT editor, and am not sure of all the features, so I can't troubleshoot very well. Previously I've been using the method described in my tutorial to edit spells for my maps.

If you are refering to those issues as they apply to the custom ability, edit the fields:
Art - Icon - Normal
Art - Icon - Research
Level 1 - Text - Tooltip etc.

If for the spawned custom unit the fields:
Art - Icon - Game Interface
Text - Name
For each unique level of spawned unit.

If you want to use icons not present in the war3x.mpq, then you must import and path them properly.

Yea, that's the thing. I'm aware of all this; I did all that. The units are made, their models, icons, and all settings set. The spell is set, icons, button position, everything. Here, Screenshot:

As you may notice, it's not in the Custom Abilities. This is not because I edited an existing spell, but because I created it via MPQ editing. I suppose this may be the problem; I'll try to create a new one based off of Feral Spirit and see if it has the same problem.

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I found the problem.
Thanks.

Yep, got it. Thank you.
