SilverSong, You will probably find it was not us who got hacked, but you. You must have had a spyware or logger of some kind embedded in your PC that got that information and sent it off. Or maybe it was hacked from you in other ways (including stupid "friends" who maybe did this as an impratical joke). Also maybe a site you donated to last year sold your pay pal info and you are blaming us falsely.

I assure you it is highly unlikly that they would hack THW just to steal your PayPal data and leave everyone elses alone and Ralle as well as other admins try their best to assure that such information does not fall into the wrong hands.

I strongly recomend redrawing up a list of possiable information leaks and checking which others are the most likely cause for it next to us and tracing them one by one.

How is this a bug? It is just a hacker, it happens a lot. You see, when a mommy reject and a daddy reject love each other very much, there is a little bit of magic, and in 9 months a stork comes and delivers its excrement to the family. It is from this excrement that the baby Hacker is born.

For the record, HiveWorkshop does not have access to any of your personal Paypal information. Whenever you make a donation, you actually get redirected to Paypal's site directly. All the information you enter is for paypal's eyes only. Hive's server simply gets a transaction code, your email address, and the receipt of your payment, but no personal account information.

Someone has hacked into Hiveworkshop.com and stolen the list of people owning paypal accounts including email addresses and spammed the list with paypal spoofs. This is the only website I spent any money on in the past year.
This is bs. You wont find anything on hiveworkshop.com's server about which emails donated. Stop accusing that. Maybe you have easy passwords?
Don't blame us. Blame yourself for being clumsy on the net.
