You call yourself a noob terrainer well I disagree, they look pertty good, and the cave looked best (4). Didn't liked the third picture (perhaps try a different camera angle) and the fifth was a bit wierd, dind't like the fires, it did not match with the tree's.

(You could add a small piece of blight under the tree that's on fire to look like it's realy burning to ash.)

I hate using the word noob, but these are beginner terrains. Not the worst I've seen I'll give him that, but they are definitely early works.

Although I don't know that much about terraining, I'm pretty sure these do not look like your typical beginner terrains, as most of the beginner terrains I've seen from lurking this forum, usually include elements such as spam, no fog/lighting and no custom doodads. All of which are included in his terrain.

I'm guessing these aren't his very first works. As well he was probably smart enough to either look up some tutorials, or even better look at how others do it.

Not saying these aren't bad, just from certain aspects I can tell he's relatively new. The first one for example, the terrain ends abruptly. As well he's used blizzard cliffs, and although they look pretty good, I bet it would be better without them. He's zoomed in really far so that the doodads are all really big and there isn't much to look at. Most of MadseNs work for example has lots to look at, or at least some sort of well made doodad structure. This middle tower in ThePunisher first terrain is kind of ugly and all one doodad as far as I can tell.

Edit: Seems to be more than one, but it's really plain.
