What doesSetMapDescriptiondo, because it doesn't alter the map's description.

It does work but only in the config function of the map.

I am using it in the config function, it doesn't change the description. I'm importing war3map.j by the way.

Im srry, normally I always check before I state something, in this case I did not, believing that its just too ridiculous that it does not work as the function is called in every map. Apparently the real description is in the .w3i file

The .w3i file uses TRGSTR_003 for the description, which is set to something other than the shown description. This is odd.

It keeps the same ghost description.

The config happens in the game lobby. Meaning in SP when you select the map or in MP when you host/join the game. In MP, you do not see the game description anymore in/after lobby. In SP, it does not seem to reload the description from that though.
