Ok, ok, so, I decided to make a skin! :D Yeah, that's right, so I made this Mortar Team skin, here, check it out!
Alright, I hosted it in ImageShack as it was said in the Guide Lines and here I am with this picture.

First: Is this the right way to show my work and get approval from the people running this Section? When will I be able to submit it for download?

Second: What do you think about my skin? Does it look good? Should I add something more?

Hey, i started making some skins a few weeks ago and love it...

First: Yes it looks decent, but you should do more than just a recolor, put more detail into it, like changing color, giving texture...

Second:I've never posted one of my own skins, i just use them...

Heres some examples ( if you were wondering ) of some army skins i made...

They arn't too bad, but it seems as if you only did some color editing. I suggest trying out some light dodge and burn effects just to give these skins an upper spin.

Secondly, I suggest that you try editing the initial shape of the original skin. This requires some creativity, but it is sure to catch more people's attention. In some cases, editing the structure of the original skin and converting to a completely different unit may be more important than the actual skin technique. For example, maybe you could try editing the zombie skin by placing grey over the original muscles and try forming your own. This is why the models section has more downloads than the skins section. People like seeing uniqueness.
