What race should the finger be from? Like as if it was on an orc hand, human etc.

Already found, but its not what I was looking for.
I need a open hand you look from above like something is wrong with the hand and you look down to it, its half open and see some scars in it.

I might have a go too, could you tell me what the icon is for exactly? ie describe the upgrade/ability/etc to help my creativity work in the right direction.

Its for an blood spell, like someone just hitted with thorns and bleeds.

understood. I can't draw that well so anything i made would have to be done using a hand i pulled off Google images or something, I could definately make it more war3 style though. If you like I could try and make something out of that second image and throw a bit more colour in there?

That one is made using the second picture you posted, Looks much more war3 style. I hope you like that one because I expect I'll face CnP criticism again

Its good, but the perspective doesn't look down to the hand. Thats important because its the main ascpect of that spell.

Ah now i see what you mean... I might have another go tomorrow as I'm about to hit the sack.


on a side note, I post the icons in the icons section because its so easy and so user friendly. If I had to upload all that stuff seperately and screw around with winrar and an ftp client I probably wouldn't bother trying to help out -_-

Also as far as I'm concerned the originality of the war3 resource doesn't bother me at all, as long as it does the job. The way I see it: this is a war3 mapping resource site, not deviant art or something like that. (having said that I still have a lot of respect for anyone who can freehand)
