Good morning Hive! (it's 0:30 here :p)
I've been messing around with the WE lately, today/yesterday I've decided that I'll create a mini AoS map. So, it's gonna be really basic, but that's not the point. My question is, can I modify the regional weather effects? A.k.a. add more snowflakes to blizzard, change the direction of the Wind, and add more fog, to the fog...if yes, where can I change that?
Thank you very much :)

There are multiple ways to do that.

You can make a region, then edit the properties of the region and create a weather effect from there.

You can create a trigger with the following actions:
  • Actions
    • Environment - Create at (Playable map area) the weather effect Ashenvale Rain (Heavy)
    • Environment - Turn (Last created weather effect) On
You can create a weather effect using Scenario > Map Options... > Use global weather.

Hope this helped.

By using the ways above you can create many weather effects at the same time.

Yes Huurka, with all due respect, I know how to do that :p (I'll rep you anyways for your work, you actually deserve it, I've been lurking at the forum lately, seeing you help a lot)
I think you misunderstood me, can you 'modify' the already existing weather effect?
I create a blizzard weather effect at a region, and is there perhaps a function in the object editor with which I could increase the numbers of the snowflakes?
Or change the direction of the wind, with the fog, even scaling it up would do, just tell me how, EVERYTHING is appreciated.
Thank you

aww...sad :(
is it then perhaps possible to create new weather effects?
With new model imports?
Oh ye, Huurka, thank you anyways :)

You might be able to stack effects on top of each other, I'd imagine two blizzards would lead to twice the amount of snow, but this would probably lead to quite a bit of lag.

Well, I seriously doubt it will
the map is quite small, and it's only for an area of the map
so it's very small
Oh, could someone tell me, how to spoil the vision in the game?
It has to be kinda cloudy and and so...is that possible?

well, spoil yes, I don't know if it's called custom color or so, I want to make such an effect, so it looks like a fog (white, if it's possible)
The map is gonna be full of such effects, so you might expect more annoying questions xD
Thank you for your time :D

Thank you very much!
I see no sense why you're not a moderator!
You help really a lot...
edit: Any tips on the density and the starts and ends? :S

Well
There is a Weather variable type I suppose
so like
Weather - Create OMFGPWNT effect on X region
set WEATHERVAR = Last Created Weather Effect

When you are gonna modify it, just dont
delete and place a new weather effect
Weather - Remove WEATHERVAR effect
Weather - Create OMFGSECONDEFFECT on X region
set WEATHERVAR = Last Created Weather Effect

It is hard for ME to choose what you need.

I guess if you don't want to look so far forward use z start 500 something. If you're still not happy decrease it, or use more density.

So what is the Z start anyways?
I guess it's where it appears...?
Or the distance away from the terrain? Oo
