Reforged Wood Texture

Submitted by Veronnis
This bundle is marked as pending. It has not been reviewed by a staff member yet.
A simple wood tile I made for Warcraft 3 Reforged. I hope someone is able to enjoy it, I might make another one later but since this may be the first new texture I figured people would like to have access to some wood.

Note: If you want shiny wood, don't import the ORM texture, however whichever tile you overwrite will determine the shine, the one in the screenshot is Lordaeron Rock. If you want not-shiny wood that looks more real import the blank ORM texture.

Import Example:
terrainart\lordaeronsummer\lords_rock_diffuse.dds
terrainart\lordaeronsummer\lords_rock_normal.dds
terrainart\lordaeronsummer\lords_rock_orm.dds

Looks great, but I think wooden borders instead of stone borders would make it significantly more useful.

What do you think of the border on this? It's still actually still the stone border normal map, midway through conversion but I thought it looked pretty cool :p

Not particularly. Just an in general thing. Warcraft always seems like an "outdoors" game. Would be nice to see more "indoor" terrain done well. =]

The game really makes this look a lot better ingame, judging from the un-wrap.

Also, yeah, we have yet to create a resource section for Reforged assets. But it's good to see people are starting to figure out how to edit textures and testing things out.

We need a tutorial on how to extract and convert models and textures, since things have changed.

We (the terrainers) did loads of indoor terrains with classic btw. It would be great to see more indoor custom stuff made with Reforged's upgraded visuals.

    Cool texture @Veronnis :]

I would be more than happy to attempt to fulfill some requests.

Recently just made this fun little terrain. I need to touch a few things up though.

Also trying out a night elf terrain. Let me know if anything thinks it looks good or not so much.
