WoW-EU Patch notes said:
Real ID: A New Way to Connect With Your Friends on Battle.net

One of our goals for the new Battle.net is to create the framework for an online gaming experience that is even more accessible, more engaging, and more entertaining than the previous Battle.net. The newly released Real ID feature, available to World of Warcraft players as part of patch 3.3.5, is an integral part of this effort, providing you with advanced ways for forming and maintaining meaningful relationships with your friends on the service.

Real ID is a completely voluntary and optional level of identity that keeps players connected across all of Battle.net. When you and a friend mutually agree to become Real ID friends, you'll have access to a number of additional features that will enrich your social gaming experience in new and exciting ways. Go here for more details.

So, this brings us to a whole new question. Wouldn't Blizzard want to test Real ID?

My beliefs are that they're turning Sc2 beta back on tonight. To test Real ID. Expect a whole pack of WoW players raiding the beta soon. Blizzard is surely gonna launch a massive beta key invitation for them.

Get your Galaxy Editors ready to publish, because we are near the phase 2 ;)

Just to recap for people who might have randomly clicked on this post.

SC2 and WoW will allow some form of communication between them as described above. You will not be able to communicate with older blizzard games (D1, D2, WC2, WC3 and SC) however you will be able to communicate with all current and near future games from blizzard (SC2, WoW and later D3) from with in the clients.

It is obvious this is cause the beta will be resuming soon for the last time before the launch of SC2 so they will be testing out features like this on us.

I do not feel this diserves a news item cause SC2 is down and this site does not fully support WoW compared to other sites but it will be mentioned when the beta resumes along with the massive change log of SC2 we can expect.
