Since I couldn't find a triggersection in this forum, and since people don't like it if non-model related treads are being posted in the requestsection, I Decided to post my prob here... (and if you don't know how to do it with the wysiwyg trigger editor in warcraft III, then post the jassscript here, but the WHOLE jass script because I don't understand anything of jass)

I want to create a dialogbox at the startup of my map, containing 10 buttons with 10 racenames... (like Humans, Orcs, Naga, Undeath, ...). When you click one of them, the box will close and you'll get the startbuilding + 5 peasants (racerelated) at your start location...

Oh and 1 last thing: I don't like it when I see the 'times viewed' of this tread raising without anyone posting in it... (in other words: please post :s)

Yes I thought to do it that way too... But I don't know how to make a dialog box...

When it pops up at the start, there are NO buttons to click on... And when I say to create a new button for the box, it doesn't create one... And even if it would, how would the trigger know which trigger to run when a certain dialog button is clicked? you've got to enter some kind of variable when you take the even 'dialog button X is clicked'...

So please explain to me how to use these dialog things (+include a variable list when I'll have to use any)

You'd probably get a response quicker if you posted the map and asked someone to add it, or failing that posted the 10 races you want listed.

For the latter though, you'd have to add the create-units yourself.
