Question Regarding Shadow Strike

I was just wondering how the Warden's shadow strike move works. Like wut is decay power and how it works? When i use it it seems that their move speed and attack speed is drastically reduced and gotten back slowly over time. Detailed explaination appreciated hehe

Shadow strike deals Initial Damage at strike, then Decaying Damage every Casting Time seconds Decaying Power is something else, but ive forgot, and yes, the slow slowly fades as time goes(if you want this to last for as long as the damage lasts, you should make a dummy trigger with a regular poison)

Just spawn your type of dummy unit somewhere, add Shadow Strike to it, and order it to cast Shadow Strike on whoever you want.

I believe he meant that he wanted to add a dummy poison to the spell (i.e. slow for the entire duration of the spell).

Ya, that's what I would guess as well, though, like PurplePoot, I am not sure. Just play around with some of the values until you get a result that you find acceptable...

Ic but setting things to 0 messes up soooo frequently

Oh also uf u set it 2 0 the damage will never tick i think?

Cast Time is how often the damage goes off.

Quite true, though I don't know why... Shadow strike is kinda an all-around weird ability...

Using shadow strike with low/0 cast time will still deal damage like normal but will MAJORLY bug the unit is damaged event causing MAJOR lag.
