I dont know a way to fix it. I lost all of my maps once, so now I save my maps in 2 different places, (one outside of the warcraft 3 maps section). You should look for the test map, because that usually contains a good fairly recent version of your map. Unless you have tested a different map in between the time when that map failed and now.

Then you are one lucky man, since you had backups, right?

Actually Blizzard made a folder in the Maps folder called "Test" for people who don't know how to backup copy their maps. In the test folder is your last tested map, check it there.

That sucks. I guess that map is done, unless you e-maild it to your friends or somthing.

If you ever uploaded it anywhare before, then look there. Thats what I would do.

True. Crash on saving causes map not to load, so that is definitely the cause.
