Ignore the NUNS bit :3 That stands for New United Nations Spacy in the anime.

They use something like a laser machinegun as their main weapons and plenty of missiles. Plasma knives as secondary weapons (Robot form only for obvious reasons) and they do possess a weak energy barrier, which, when needed can be used to energise the fist to do a punching attack (Not making this up, it was in the anime ). Some also have beam guns as well.
